it's a crying shame. if klopp wasn't going I'd shrug at this and say OK next year. I just really wanted him to have a big send off. we will just hope to see it come together quickly but any side with more energy like Fulham will take us apart sadly. losing to Everton would be "bitter" lol. we really shouldn't be that bad but I'm sure they will run hard at least. the issue for me is too many tired at once and too many options who want to run off doing othe things. we can't play endo or macca as we need both as szobo, Elliott, Jones will all run about up the park. if we play say szobo and Jones like we did at the start we could be more energetic but wide open in a different way.
I still think we have a chance at the league. Probably a better chance than we do in Europe. Between the two competitions, one might yet be a surprise and give Klopp.one more good cup.
we have hard experience watching city do what they have done in all but one season. be it us or arsenal. they only one they didn't do it was when we had it won by miles. if you want to put it in your way of talking we've a 10% shot thursday and about a 5% shot that city mess this up. Brighton a forest a wolves h Fulham a spurs a West ham h there's not a zero chance that they draw or lose 1 bit looking at the fixtures and those teams form etc we would need to win all ours too.
They've got more than 5% chance at dropping points away against Spurs. I'd say overall, there's probably 50% chance they will drop points at least once. Problem is. We have some moderately tough matches too so we're more than 50% chance to drop more points.
Maybe they do. maybe its 20% chances they draw to spurs say. we then have to win all the games and that dops it back. I would say histroy tells us its a lot less than 50% shot they drop points if they have to get them. Last year the could focus o nthe CL by the end so didn't care. They blew arsenal away. we have had 2 hard seasons experienc eof them winning every game down to the last day to take the title by 1 points. I couldn't say 50% chance they will drop them.
I'm unsure sure I agree, we no longer play unrelenting football. We certainly don't press like we used to. We are much slower and controlled. If we do score we look to take the sting out the game and pass it round at the back. The basics is in the summer we desperately needed to reinforce the midfield, instead we replaced. We are still woefully light of quality bodies in the hardest position to play. We've been fairly lucky with the youth coming through in defence and to a lesser extent the attack, but there's no one whos come into midfield. They've ran as hard as they could for as long as they could, it's finally caught up with the group.
