And they've been pretty average by their standards this season aswell I would say. Watching them yesterday at times was painful.
Maybe? But Arsenal are so much more entertaining and it’s relatively easy to win painfully when your backed by an oil state and playing a team that’s backed by their local chippy (ish) YAWN
He’s got to be involved with England. Mad he didn’t get a single minute in the recent internationals.
He won't play much with Foden, Bellingham and Saka taking up the 3 positions behind Kane. And Palmer is essentially a number 10, which is where Bellingham will line up in the Euro's. He's a very good player and having a great season, but Bellingham is on a completely different level.
So the recent friendlies would have been a good chance to see how he fits in with the others on the international stage then. He’d be a useful option off the bench if nothing else and you never know who will pick up an injury at a bad time. Think he’s looked more impressive than Saka this season, though I would still start Saka on the right I think.
But Palmer isn't a winger. He'd be ineffective out wide. And England have 2 more friendlies before the Euro's so Palmer may get a good run out then.
I hope the FA throw the book at Forest for their ludicrous statement yesterday. For an official club statement to imply a referee is biased in any way is a disgrace and they should be charged with bringing the game into disrepute.
I think they've got a point. If an official supports Luton why should he officiate a game with a direct conflict of interest? Surely that should be avoided where possible. Staggering that not a single one of those pens was given. I think the ref being biased is the most likely option.
Or they could reveal to the public who Atwell supports and why - if it's Luton - they ignored their own rules by putting him in charge.
But as both teams are involved in the relegation fight why does it matter if the VAR supports Luton. While it was probably unwise to appoint him, as it opened the door in the first place for such accusations, there was no way he was biased. And such an unfounded accusation by an official club source will be met with a hefty FA charge.
