I expected to concede tonight. How long atalanta can keep up their press I don't know, but hopefully the subs can turn this around.

Rather than moaning about our team, I'm going to praise Atalanta; their tactics and pressing are superb, they're making it extremely difficult for us to play it from the back.

From our perspective, we need to find away around their approach. Playing out from the back isn't going to work so we need more options in midfield that can control the play. Also, we've got two of the front three looking to come short (Gakpo and Elliott), we need to be going the other way and not just rely on Nunez

 

We have made some terrible mistakes, poor passing, getting muscled off the ball. We just are not at it tonight

 

Getting pretty annoyed with the ease at which we concede. Every. Single. Game
For the supposed best CB in the world, VvD's ability to organise is terrible at times.
I do not know why Klopp persists with Gomez in the TAA role.

 

Lets not forget..
We're usually better in the second half, and we score a large percentage of a goals in the dying minutes. Certainly far from.over at 0-1 down.

They're coach has got it spot on.

If we had the first 11 out, then maybe we could counter act it, but we havnt.

He's seen how we play and effectively nullified it.

 

It certainly makes the game a lot harder if we don't.
