oh right since he's pele lets keep him in goal then? was this before or after he let in a goal? that was also just minutes in
He's only got a year to run on his current deal and has a £1m release clause, so there's likely to be a fair bit of interest (Sheffield United were in for him in the summer).
A lot I should think, but as that wasn't the point I was making I'm not sure how it's relevant. The point is that there seems to have been some collective memory loss that Ingram wasn't that great a shot stopper either, and was undoubtedly much much worse at playing out from the back. We undoubtedly need a better keeper, I'm unconvinced that is Ingram.
It was before. My point being people claiming he doesn't use his strength (his passing) in games when he clearly does. People seem to just ignore it.
no ones disputed that but he's a crap keeper better to have a slightly worse passer and a better keeper in my book
Allsop does a lot of good long balls It's a better tactic than ponderously building from the back and have to deal with a packed defence.
i dont remember every single post someone has ever said but he's not that good at passing, you act like hes prime kroos
And yet you were happy to claim no one had said something. I do remember that post as it was in response to me which prompted me to follow up on it when watching the replay. You didn't need to interject. He is good at passing. I act like nothing, I pointed out an example of him passing the ball well. You're overreacting quite significantly.
I’m hearing Pandur isn’t all that bob We’re looking at a young kid in the Peruvian league Outstanding with his feet Got 6 toes on either foot Keeping him on loan out there for five years first tho Now allsopps settled in he’ll be better next season Can’t have too much churn
Not all of that information is available, sadly. I did find a few interesting bits: This season Ryan Allsop is 9th out of all 46 Championship goalkeepers for save percentage, with 70.9%. Ipswich, Leicester, Leeds, Southampton, and West Brom are the only teams to have faced fewer shots than us. Their first choice keepers have the following save percentages: Leicester – Hermansen – 74.5% Leeds – Meslier – 72.4% West Brom – Palmer – 71.6% Ipswich – Hladký – 66.7% Southampton – Bazunu – 63.8% Matt Ingram's save percentage was 51.7% when he did play this season, which is why our squad percentage looks so low.
Are you trying to say he’s a good keeper? because you keep coming up with stuff Thing posters judge with their eyes and he’s a poor keeper
allsopp 'saved' that out of the box shot that was pretty much right at him, he palmed into their attacker but hey its a save right hes ****
He's made mistakes, sure. I'm just not sure he's the disaster many on here are saying he is when you look at him in context to other keepers. He seems pretty representative of the quality of goalkeeping in the Championship.
