On wyscout today doing some scouting and thought id check out some of our player stats from Tuesday

Neil - who we were all raving about (and rightly so), won possession back 15 times (5 interceptions and 10 recoveries) and he won 62% of his duels (anything above 55% is very good for a CM), he only misplaced 5 passes all game as well and completed 60% of his dribbles. Always nice when the stats back up the eye test.

Ballard n o9 impressed me so looked at their stats:
Ballard - 8 interceptions, 11 recoveries, 63% of duels won, and won 67% of aerial duels

O9 - 4 interceptions, 6 recoveries, 55% duels won, 67% of aerial duels won and he completed 92% of his passes (impressively he completed 6 out of 7 long range passes)

Hume had 10 interceptions and 12 recoveries, both very impressive. He also won 68% of his duels and 60% of aerial duels - also only misplaced 3 passes

There's a reason we've kept four clean sheets recently, the Blackburn game was a fluke, all our back four can play out, are mobile and like a tackle, they should get more credit than they do imo.

O'Nien's long range passing is often superb, Hume as well.

Wouldn't disagree, they huffed and puffed all night, we created the better chances from very little possession and Patto apart from punching well had very little to do.
How many times have we had the majority possession and come away empty handed, Cardiff H springs to mind.

    Cue a rant from me.

It really makes me f*ck*ng angry when people call barely talented people like Christopher Biggins, Kate Moss and Michael Parkinson 'national treasures or icons' ...

... when someone so unique, who will leave a huge legacy, is virtually ignored by people.

Fair enough, it's their loss and everyone has different tastes.

Makes a change for us to be called the physical bullies! Love it he says Leicester lost because Millwall had spunk , but Leeds drew only because they were poor
