People like to go and see a winning team, add in midweek and it's looking like being a cold wet and windy night.
I think the point is it shouldn't need the hype. We all wish we had more of us, some would say saddos, like other clubs who turn up regardless, but we've never had as many as others sadly
Can't make tonight due to night shift, but will be trying to keep up regardless. Fingers crossed we carry the mentality over from the Cardiff game and finally put a team to the sword in good fashion at home. Heart says we'll do it, head says it'll be another cagey affair where we dominate position and fail to turn the screw again.
Don’t blame them tbh. I’m going because I have a membership and don’t like missing home games but we have a lot of fair weather fans, always have. Acun has done brilliantly getting these fair weather fans to buy tickets but it being a Wednesday (school night) and playoffs being pretty much gone will have put them off.
I I hope they miss an incredible performance and come back Saturday with their tails between their legs Can’t beat evening kick offs IMHO
Worst thing about midweek (apart from the travel for us out of towners) is you can't toast a win with a few ales, and if we lose it's made even worse knowing you've got work in a few hours
The barriers at Walton Street crossing, west bound, had been stuck down for over an hour. Now fully open again but traffic east of crossing is very heavy.
