Aye my nephew, unfortunately not me! He's on a golf scholarship in the States right now, done very well for himself in recent years.
If you ever want views on courses north of us let me know , East Lothian and Northumberland mainly there’s some overpriced and some gems too .
Scheffler is in the form of his life and it would be silly to not look at him as clear favourite. It's a complete outside one, but I'd love to see Fleetwood win it
10 of the last 12 Masters winners have been at 1.7 strokes gained tee to green or better in the three months leading into the Masters per @DataGolf. Here are your final qualifiers* this year. Scheffler: 3.2 Schauffele: 2.3 Matsuyama: 1.9 Si Woo Kim: 1.8 McIlroy: 1.7 Thomas: 1.7 *Does not include LIV players like Niemann and Rahm who are almost surely in this group because detailed LIV date is not available on @datagolf.
Hope not, good golfer but a bit of a c**t in real life. Would love McIlroy to get his grand slam finally. Hard to look past Scheffler however. Unfortunately, Rahm hasn't played enough I don't think to be truly competitive (but you never know) as I would also really like him to repeat which would have the added benefit of shutting Faldo up.
I once played in a fish trades tournament at Muirfield and Ronnie Corbett was the after dinner speaker in the evening. Apparently, this was one of his party tricks, but there was a large open fire in the room with a mantle piece, and he would do part of his act from the mantle piece.
I’m having a full day 1 to 1 golf lesson tomorrow, trying to kickstart my rusty old game into something presentable. Wish me luck. If you want. Not obligatory…
Sorry, I presumed you were local and it would be one of the ones here haha! I absolutely love my lessons, it's something I feel like I get something from every time I have one
Slimline DeChambeau currently leading Masters -7 one to play.... good to see Danny Willett (horses for courses) second at -4
