But the change didn’t happen upon kick off did it? Surely if that were the case then the changed would have had to have been made then
And just a word for the ref…absolute shocker, Shef Wed allowed to grab and throw our players to the ground, put in countless late challenges without punishment
Yes…why? When it was clear Barnes was offering nothing. I know it’s not as simple as this but imagine Van Hooijdonk on the edge of the ) yard box instead of Barnes when Nunez swung that cross in at the end
For me we should have pushed harder for the 3rd in the first half, then made 3 or 4 changes at half time, bring on some fresh legs with a point to prove.
I really am losing a lot of interest mainly due to the clown in charge. 2-0 up against a team in the bottom three with a goal difference of minus 31 who we have battered all the first half and what does he do? Go for a third to completely kill the game no - do what he always does, and normally fails to do, defend the lead. Idiot!! We somehow got away with it on Saturday but that was an exception rather than the rule. 5 points clear of Preston who have a game in hand and we have to go there. I seriously do not want to get into the playoffs because that hopefully will see the back of him. I know several people who have not renewed their season tickets and from what I can gather none of them regret it.
I have to give Wagner credit because the form since the turn of the year has been good, but as soon as Sargent drops out of the side we look toothless and carry no threat or real hold up play up top which heaps pressure on us as teams feel far more comfortable to push up onto us. We haven’t seen enough of Van Hooijdonk to know if he is any good but at least give him a try if you’re going to take Sargent off
Worth noting Josh Sargent tonight equaled Pukki’s goal scoring in 2018/19, if only we had him fit all season.
He we go again, a friend of my sister who works with a guy who's brother plays for a football team where two of the players say they know someone who has said they are going to give up their season tickets because the club isn't what it used to be. They were the same so called supporters that were absolutely certain before even half the season had been played that we were definitely going to get relegated this season and had absolutely no chance of making the play offs. They are now really disappointed that it hasn't happened.
It's the Championship, who thought Millwall would beat Leicester? The substitutes were odd but mainly due to Gibbs coming on then getting injured instantly. The situation where we loaned Idah out & he's scored 6 in 9 only to loan Van Hooijdonk in & not play him is stupid.
IF we hadn't blown a 2-0 lead & scored one of the many chances we would be in 5th above West Brom. 2 points very much wasted
Before I moved to France I sat within a group of 6 and we had been together in the same seats for at least 25 years. When I left another friend transferred into my seat. 3 of the 6 have not renewed. My son has sat in another part of the ground with 3 other friends for more than 10 years. 2 of them have not renewed. They are the facts as I know them and not based on what I overheard Sam the plumber say down the Pub.
Seeing as Norwich are unbeaten in 13 games at home winning the last 8 , with only 1 loss in 2024 you would need to be a bit of a misery guts to complain about the season ticket value. Some people just like moaning
