Man I've been most impressed with so far? Gotta be Obertan tbh, got some decent crosses in but Ba is there by himself surrounded by load of red shirts. Ben Arfa has been good on the ball but just doesn't seem to be in the right place at the right time.

Pleased so far, they've kept Ben Arfa quite quiet, buy Obertan looks a different player! Definitely Man of the Match so far, although Krul has been good.

I reckon what's put Krul onto the next level, in terms of his Goalkeeping ability, is that he has lost a trait he had previously; he'd be a great keeper until he made a big error. A few games we lost last year were the result of slips/spills/mispositioning on Krul's part. He's now as good a player as Tiote, Cabaye or Coloccini as far as I'm concerned.

And that is fate well and truly tempted...

Total disgrace, I'm not surprised that Ben Arfa was wound up by it.

Good stuff so far, although we are playing a dangerously high line that has my heart in mouth every time they send Nani or Hernandez scampering away. If anything, we look more susceptible to balls over the top than anything else, and oh for the love of God I'd wish Ben Arfa would stop trying to do little tricks and flicks around the corner, when we've kept hold of the ball and passed it we've caused them no amount of bother.

Rooney should have been off, hopefully the FA will look at it and review it but with it being Man Utd it'll probably never get mentioned again. Cabaye and Guthrie are dominating CM, Obertan's giving Evra a good old going over on the right. Aye they've forced Krul into one good save but Ba had De Gea scrambling across his goal for that shot and Raylor should have connected with his volley.

Say it quietly lads, but we could nick this.

Going well so far, worries me every time Raylor is near the ball though or if Man Utd attack down that side. Jonas + Obertan a bit wasteful so far imo. Couple of good crosses from each though(the better from from Obertan).

I always feel uneasy when Soccer Saturday say we're playing well away to a big team, you're just waiting for the slap in the face when they score!

Let's hope for more of the same in the 2nd half. If we'd gone in 0-0 last weekend v City we'd have got a point.

    Good first half display.

Was on my feet when Ben Arfa chipped that ball to Ba and like Man City he missed. Magic stuff.

    Keep it up. <howaythelads>

Obertan proving he's a good out ball again, doing well against Evra like.

Dont know if its me over reacting but how on earth did Rooney not get a yellow?, I know its Benny's own fault he got booked but still.. does that mean you can lash out at a player and not get booked but if you run over to have a go at him for doing it you do get booked??

Also, im watching that link on first row from ESPN .. Anyone else think their camera men are ****e??? there doing my head in !

Mebbe outside the box, would've been very harsh inside.

Regards the Rooney thing he mebbe should've been booked but it wasn't that bad, hence Colo shaking his hand on the way up. Ben Arfa shouldn't have got involved.

Fast becoming a big fan of Obertan! Who'd have thought it at the start of the season.

Yeah I'm disgusted that Rooney didn't get carded for quite blatantly lashing into Colo's foot. HBA obviously got pissed off because of what happened to him that went unpunished and should have kept his cool but I'd probably have acted the same in his shoes.

Brilliant effort so far, you'd never know they're the Champions and we're 'relegation candidates'!

Rooney should've been carded IMO but Ben Arfa shouldn't have got involved, even so, I'm pleased to see him going mental 'cause someone kicked his team mate! Annoying me how the commentators make nothing of Rooney blatantly booting Colo out of frustration!

On that note, I'd like to see more of Ben Arfa running with the ball. We've gone straight to Ba a lot of the time, but that's not his game (that's Best's territory) and he's struggling, I'd much rather see Ben Arfa run, create space and THEN feed Ba!

Either way, this game could go for or against us with literally 1 mistake or lapse in concentration/dodgy refereeing decision!

    HTL!
