Match day, as always I am excited and nervous. At my age I should probably have a camomile tea. I am under no illusions about how tough this game will be, and how dreadful our form is. Somehow though, I have a hope and a bit of expectation. Only because it is Leeds and we should be bang up for it. As a player you must want to upset their ambitions. If we got a goal up then they might falter a bit and their fans will get edgy. Like others have said though, if we lose the first goal and are really at it, we could be watching from behind the sofa. We could do without another hammering tbh.
Common sense suggests we'll get a good gubbing Chaos Theory = chances of an away win are vanishingly small Put me down for 0-3 Sunderland
Debuting my Firestick for this one tonight! Could do with some info on how to get non-televised games mind
On mine I have a section labelled 'EFL Championship' with every club listed under it, then I just click on Sunderland or whoever we are playing with about 5 minutes to kick off
There should be a sky sports option on the firestick just hit that and then hit main event if that's the sky channel we're on.
Tonight would’ve been mint if we were any good and still had a chance of play-offs. Shame we’re ****e.
Tough game, and not a great one when on a bad run and possibly on the beach. Just hoping for a positive performance with some good counter attacking that we've seen the team produce previously and a lot more solid defensively. Looking forward to it weirdly, should be a good test.
Its could still be a great night if we beat Leeds and do the double on them ... ... it's not far off the same side and we have the same manager. Should be a good atmosphere whatever happens.
while i fully expect us to get beat tonight it would just be typical Sunderland to go and win against all the odds
Not sure what to expect - a good drubbing or pull off a bit of a shock which I think we are capable of!! Will be setting off around 4.00pm with one of my sons and grandsons and enjoy it as best as we can - and then back on the road again Saturday for the WBA match.
Evans has had a setback and had to start back to light training again unfortunately. I dont expect to see him play for us ever again now
The only certainty for tonight is that Ian Harte will be in his element, returning to Elland Road like a hero and pimping his biggest asset out to all and sundry
Shame I'm not there, I have a foolproof method for getting people switched. I could still probably sort it if he's on his own.
