It's a proper farce. Who is actually making these decisions ? I'd be ****ing livid if I was an Everton or Forest fan Especially as Man City have something like 115 outstanding charges against them, yet seemingly nothing gets done.
Forest and Everton is clean cut. Their losses were way over. Man City are being accused of totally different charges which needs to be proved which is why that one is taking longer.
Need to pull their ****in finger out then. Also I don't agree with docking points during the season as it skews the league positions. Do it in the close season and if any teams are docked points, they start with a minus points total
investigating some obviously dodgy receipts and investigating a sophisticated money laundering operation are vastly different in approach and cost.
Not really. The charges are up for debate but the fact it's a great season for them for it to happen is not. Last few years this would have totally sunk them but this year there's so few points going to be needed to stay up that they'll be fine. One more win will probably be enough alongside a couple of draws. Add that they still have Brentford, Forest and Sheffield United at home to play. I think it would have needed to be 5 points plus for it to be a genuine issue. I half-wonder whether the FA have decided it's easier to do it this way as the appeals are going to be less relevant, if they'd hit Everton with another 6 points then they would have appealed and been waiting on a result which could have decided the relegation places - possibly after the end of the season. This avoids that.
They're definitely in the mix when you consider their fixtures are 6 pointers or games vs good sides. If they lose to Forest and Luton they'll be in serious trouble.... they have 1 win since Nov or something aswel which is a sign of a bad side. All to play for at the bottom.
