I don’t get why people criticise him, he’s better than Bents, who cost millions and was on really high wages. I like Max, plus he’s relatively young for a keeper and is still improving
he has improved big time just sort the distribution and box commanding then he would be a top championship keeper. 0-0-take that at half time.

All of the bad things about Bristol City have shown up in abundance today and as far as progress towards a competitive team has fallen off a cliff somewhere along the way. Max has been our only shining light in one of the worst displays of teamwork I have seen in many a long day and unless they get their heads out of their backsides we could be in for a rude awakening in the next 45 minutes. Just about all of our passes never reach what I suppose was their intended target and Sunderland are only too willing to mop up our constant mistakes where we don't seem to want the ball as much as them. At times there are 4 or 5 players surrounding their players and that leaves so much free space for the opposition to thrive with attack after attack. We almost look disinterested and seeing Mehmeti constantly moaning to the referee and losing his concentration is starting to annoy me, so for goodness sake just shut up and play the game that pays your wages.
Max has kept us in it, he's been superb but honestly, we've been our own worst enemy. Hope we're better 2nd half, because it looks like 1 step forward and 2 backwards.
no we didn’t get battered by them, they beat us 3-2 , Simms scored 2 and Stewart scored the other. Drew 1-1 with a Wells penalty and beat them in December 1-0
I think that games was a big mistake from Naismith gifted them the lead, and we never really recovered. Simms dominated Atkinson & Naismith that game
Why not make an easy clearance from inside your own area a pass straight back to the opposition? What the hell are they thinking, or are they capable of thinking the right way to play this game?

We never have anything up front RR and today only goes to show how our lack of bringing in the right players to do the hard work hurts us too consistently.
