A complete no-show from Il Est Francais as he trails home last of 5 tailed off. He seemed to me to land a little awkwardly at the water jump, I wonder if that affected him somehow?

The (16:30) at Uttoxeter, a Class-4 Handicap Hurdle over an extended 2m7f on heavy ground, gives the Shirocco gelding, Accidental Legend, a decent chance to run well. Notice that he has been backed since the opening show earlier. Enough said. Paddy Brennan (not a particular favourite of mine, to be honest) rides for the Fergal O'Brien stable. 11/4 (Wm.Hill/Ladbrokes) best price early-doors, on the ATR site.
