Serge Reguilon at the heart of most positive things Brentford did yesterday - but then fell asleep at the far post for Chelsea's late equaliser.
That sums up just about everything I hate about the MLS. Awful team name, ridiculous commentator and playing on during a blizzard. Laughable stuff.
Cauley Woodrow was on our books as a kid and Townsend got the assist, so I'm putting this here. His goal against Palace at the weekend was his second ever in the Premier League. His first was in 2014 for Fulham... against Palace!
Not a good day for ex spurs so far... Doherty loses v Coventry in fa cup shock and Reguilon off in opening 9 mins!
They all seem to really love him, don't they? Not sure what's going on with his right cheek at the end, though. Odd.
Joe's sister was married to one of my uncles and when I was younger I milked the connection well and truly I would turn up at his mums house where he lived and get programmes signed by him and regular's at the house , Jennings, Beal, Knowles, Pratt ,all waiting for Joe's mums tea and cakes I met him about 20 years ago in his pub and asked if he remembered me , his reply was yes you was a right fecking pain coming round every week but mum liked ya
Lovely touch to get most of the band back together. I've still got so much love for that group of players. Incidentally, Kevin Wimmer's career nosedived after leaving us and he now plays for Slovan Bratislava.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68770539 This is what I never liked about him. He's always given the impression that he sees himself as a far better player than he actually is. It's the number one reason you'll watch a player for years with no real signs of improvement: they genuinely don't believe they need to improve.
