He got slated as he wasn't Stewart or Simms, he also wasn't a true No.9. Yet he gave everything, created space, gave defenders something to worry about. I would have him back
It's frightening to think you might be sitting next to someone as warped as this today. Thread just posted on another forum. "May we here a rendition of “we want Dreyfus out” today." Honestly, how bad is some of the spelling on the Internet
Sorry I just can’t help it, looking forward to the match today despite getting walloped on Monday 2-0 to the sunlun! Hawayyy!
What I’m expecting today: *Roberts and Clarke benched. *Dack and Rigg to start. *Ekwah dropped. *Hemir cameo likely after goal for the u21s.
It all depends on what our aims are I suppose. If we're resigned to Clarke going it'll be a 'shop window' job. If we're considering keeping Dack he'll play imo, same with Hemir. Rigg will be expecting a start and deserves done.
I think both wingers will get on the pitch, but with little to play for they’ll not be risked just yet, throwing them in early didn’t work against Blackburn. Dack almost certainly won’t get renewed, he’s on a decent wedge and past his best, but Ekwah was especially poor against Blackburn, Dack starts for that reason. Rigg starting is probably nailed on.
Him or Pritch! I would have preferred to have kept hold of the latter. I think that was TMgiving his mate one last pay day. I hope he proves me wrong but havent seen anything so far to suggest he will be a hit here. Agreed Rigg should be playing . Agreed re Clarke. I would just like us to try something different and play two strikers at home. Stick Jobe and Hemir on today. Our midfield is lightweight so just bypass it. Lets get the win. PS, Bristol C have only 1 away win in 2024. We know the script
Class act when fit. Unfortunately injured too often. Would make a better winger than full back in my opinion.
I can only speak for myself but I've adopted a policy of putting players out of my mind as soon as they're injured. I don't even listen to the reports of 'He's back on the grass' or 'Training with the first team.' I only pay attention when they're back in the squad tbh.
When he had his op in Jan we were told "3 months". Here we are, 3 months later and nowt. No chance we see him again this season Agree that he's our best left back
Summer is huge from this perspective. Those injury prone lads need to get their recovery right and I think the summer is coming at a good time for those to get up to full speed going into next season
Not feeling particularly confident today. Bristol have won 3 of their last 4 but are very inconsistent. Think Clarke has to start and we have to try and get the 1st goal. 2 goals in our last 4 home games is so poor. Needs to change today
I'd much rather people like that stayed away from the club totally. Don't come and be toxic inside the ground if you're not happy then don't buy a ticket it's as simple as that. There is nothing worse than being at the match and someone just whinging the whole 83 mins they're there.
