i've spent most of the season believing we are not quite ready. the last 7 games have shown we need strikers. we can do it next season. i remember when we missed out on promotion from division 3 when we only beat burnley 2-0 instead of 3-0. we still got it the next season, despite our best player being bought dirt cheap (courtesy of the stupid pricing committee_ by sheff wendy. utt.
EFL Championship Player of the Season, Sponsored by Sky Bet Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall – Leicester City Crysencio Summerville – Leeds United Sammie Szmodics – Blackburn Rovers
For all the recent disappointments, this is a powerful sign of how far we, and Liam, have progressed in the last nine months.
Quite interesting really how individual supporter elements can have such a different perspective on progress to that of the wider industry, isn't it?
I think it's generally accepted that he's done a great job, probably in most aspects. However, it now comes down to wether he can build on that because undoubtedly some changes and another level is required for us to kick on and become a genuine contender. Congratulations on the nomination Rosie and I do hope you find the answers ready for next season!
Young Player of the Season: Archie Gray - Leeds United Jon Rowe - Norwich City Jordan James - Birmingham City
It would be really interesting to hear the reasons why the people nominating ( not sure who it is TBF ) have nominated him. It's fantastic for him and the club. Just not sure he's done enough for it...the other 2 are obvious why. I've had a few messages this afternoon asking the question ( Not a dig at him before olm starts )
