I don’t think he’s necessarily improving in the way you’ve said, although as all coaches he’s learning as time goes on.. I think the players are slowly adapting to his methods. For me, I liked what I saw early on, but it all depended how the players responded..
imo there will still be off days and losses but I believe we’re heading in the right direction under his leadership. Next season will be the ultimate test. But I’m more optimistic than I’ve been for a long time,

LMs methods doesn’t allow the opposition so many chances, more often than not it’s our odd mistakes which gives them their opportunities

I only saw the last 10minutes of the Leicester game and now seen the highlights.
Sure we should have had a penalty but **** me and a 'normal' Vardy our forums would have been on fire. A bad result then and Plymouth would have been a different outcome.

I know if your Granny had....... but fine margins eh ?

The proof of the pudding is in the eating, results and performances haven’t been great, they have been better of late, but a couple of games means very little, he’s got a long way to go yet.

Nice deflection here RP. I have given NP his props for the difficult position he was in. It’s you and the other LJ haters wanted Nige to be a success to prove your hatred of LJ was justified. As it’s turned out, Nige didn’t actually do that well on the pitch, especially given his experience, which should have mitigated some of the challenges he faced - one of your biggest complaints against LJ.
The bottom line is, whether we as fans agree or not, a manager gets fired if he doesn’t meet the boards expectations, not ours. It was the same for NP as it was for DH, LJ, SC and all those before, as it will be at some point in the future for LM and those that follow him.
Unlike you, I have wanted ALL our managers to be a success at BCFC.

I agree, a manager can’t be truly judged until he has had a full season and associated transfer windows to assess if a good job is being done.

We were lucky that Vardy had a stinker, but THEY were also lucky - we had 2 maybe 3 (push on Wells) very strong penalty shouts.

If Vardy and Leicester had buried their golden chances and we had been awarded the penalties we deserved then the score would have been 4-3 to us.
But if my granny had balls……..

I wouldn’t say that they did tbf, most of if not all of there attempts at goal came from individual errors from our players, they never really offered much, maybe they had an off day which a team with the quality they have surprised me a little.

Max gets a lot of stick and tbf he’s annoying to watch sometimes especially just aimlessly kicking the ball out of play but he was the main reason we won that game, he played well and made some great saves.

Yes, but don’t forget 1for; if we hadn’t scored one more than them, we would have lost or drawn.
Think about that - worrying thought…
