There’s no denying sacking Mowbray was a mistake. The appointment of Beale looked a bit of a panic after weeks of searching and failing to attract the right manager.

After Beale left the playoffs chances were over. There’s absolutely no point making another panic appointment if somebody they really want could be available in the summer. If that’s the case, Dodds is the correct appointment to the end of the season in my eyes.

We all make mistakes, speakmans not immune from that. But he has to learn from this season, if he does that, he could be successful for us in the long term.

 

Increasingly the way of the world people want simple answers to complex problems saves them having to think.

So curiosity got the better of me and so took one for the team and suffered the whole 90 again to concentrate on Pattison.
May be one or two out, but this shows that maybe Blackburn just had 5 golden moments - not that that means our performance can be overlooked.

Apart from the goals, Blackburn were a struggling side of little threat, which makes it all even worse to take. Be interesting to see how they do on Sat v Southampton

I don't question his dedication mate, but I am beginning to question his competency. We've taken a backward step this year and that happens in football, normally through players loss of form or injuries and suspensions. I don't think we've suffered much more than other clubs in the latter and, other than yesterday, the players have performed to the best of their ability.

I can only conclude, therefore, that the slump is down to Speakman's poor recruitment, both in players and coaches.

 

You know players have sacked the season off when a 16 yr old schoolboy comes on as a sub and is motm. Boardroom level gave up on this season in February. Players are following their lead.

 

I forgot to mention the Black cats bar fiasco before getting smashed in the derby. This season has been an absolute shambles on and off the pitch.

 

And the gift that keeps giving now has club staff telling Blackburn players to "stuff these lot... Do it for Shearer". Paddy Power taking the piss with a picture of a dirty ripped old flag now. What next? This all stinks of the powers that be being asleep at the wheel, or worse still not giving a flying ****

FFS a team that had one 1 out of 18 previous league games were made to look like a CL winning team.

I would drop every fkn one of c*nts who started yesterday, possibly with the exception of Ballard, and play the bairns on Saturday. It would be impossible to be worse and at least we would see some commitment.

Alternatively. Take the shackles off, no tactics just go and play with freedom and fkn enjoy themselves.

Neil was just as bad mind. Watching them yesterday they were both running around in the middle of the park like headless chickens, neither of them anywhere near the CB’s. One of them has to be playing as a 6 and your 6 should be playing almost between your CB’s at times. No idea who it was meant to be yesterday but it seems like Dodds doesn’t give one of them the instructions to sit deeper.

 

Mascots had to wear Avec training gear on Saturday as the club shop has no "Nike" kits as well. It's almost as if the club is trying it's best to be **** at everything

 

A foreman I worked for said managing men was simple. "Give a man a specific job to do and keep doing it until they have finished. Then when he tells you he has done it give him another job. It's not rocket science"

 

Im actually pretty disgusted right now and severely concerned with what the future holds. I honestly thought a year ago we were moving on to bigger and better things aswell

 

Yep. It is imploding from within, nothing is being done correctly.

 

That pic i posted is just a flag, but it really hits home especially after the Black cats bar fiasco and what you said about club staff yesterday in how much of a decline we are on and how far out of touch our hierachy are with the fans that love the club

Haha, aye be a short boat ride to the Kingdom but an hour in the car easy Will have to get to a game with you one day mate, sadly don't have the time to mission down too often with kids work life etc. but always enjoy it, even Monday.
Left at full time and took joy in the roads being clear as well as the boy blaming the ref and "Patto not having his best game!" Ah the innocence of youth, he enjoyed his pizza for lunch anyway
