Plays horrendous footy, makes **** decisions, got all his toys and still can’t progress us. Time to go. Was never the man to start with.

I’d like to see things shaken up with players coming in that will be part of the team next year, as I think that might give us the kick needed to end strongly, but I’m not sure who that would even be. The attack built in January doesn’t look like it’s going to click and feels a little pointless now, but I don’t know what the alternative is. I would like to see Fabio dropped though, as I think he’s been far too absent and doesn’t contribute all that much, despite scoring tonight.

I posted that as we went into the break for the Qatar World Cup.

I assume that I was taking the piss rather than being a footballing Nostradamus.

But on the off-chance that I am, I'll have another go.

And when the land turns red and slow moving dangers break out laboriously from the back, then verily the one with the local Nan will lead the righteous ever higher towards Premier League glory and a title shall be undoubtedly won ever as the Massive crashes down towards oblivion.

    Worth a try.

We dont create or score enough sure
Which is why im rosie out

Even IF we did go up, Ed need at least 20 odd players to replace the loans, the players that wouldn’t be good enough.
Who is really good enough in this squad to step up to PL football?
Pandur? Unproven at this level, complete unknown.
Coyle? Ashbee type Captain, bust a gut, maybe be able.
Giles? Signed from a relegation threatened club on loan as he can’t get in their team.
Jones? Decent Championship player, might be ok.
Greaves? Despite the hype, no one knows how he’d handle the PL, but like Jones.
Slater? Works hard, but a bit like the rest.
Philogene? Looks great, but PL good? You’d hope so.
    Omur? Like Philogene.
    The rest? Highly unlikely!
So unless I’ve missed anyone, that’s 8 players!
    8! That might step up!

Get Rooney in whilst he’s still available.

Tufan, Seri and Morton would all be comfortable in the PL.

Tufans got 65 international caps, I think it’s a little unfair to not think he can

We've not won in six, and Rosie hasn't changed anything to reverse that recent record, more of the same, few chances, even less shots on goal, midfielders seem unable most of the time to run beyond whoever is the false number 9, hardly streetwise, long time since Seri's last night when someone takes one for the team, lack of experience generally speaking. Lots of controlling play with little end product.

Rosies moved us forward (not a lot given the talent at his disposal). At the time I for one was surprised we managed to get the likes of Carvalho to the club, we'll make money on Philogene, Omur looks like he'll deliver, Giles can go back to Luton for me, we need to put the reported £4m up top or on a goal scoring midfielder.

If we did go up this season we'd get tonked most Saturdays, so looking forward to making a better fist of it next season.

Feel better to have got that off my chest. Good morning Tigers fans.

Morton’s not ours, Seri was released by Fulham when they went up, Tufan is a bit marmite, he can’t get a game now on a regular basis, so in the PL, he’s like the ones I mentioned!

Seri was signed by Fulham when they were in the Premier League and he went straight into their starting XI, they shipped him out on loan to Galatasary in the second season and got relegated, then he went back in the starting XI to get promoted again.

Marco Silva knew very well that Seri wouldn't be comfortable in the premier league 2 years ago.

I don't really get this "we aren't ready" stuff.
We don't get to pick and choose when.
If we were to go up, there would be a major strengthening on top of retaining our best current players.
What I'm more concerned about is that, because of some really poor decisions this season and an obsession with our way of playing (and pitch obvs), we will a) miss out on having a go in the play offs, and b) face another major overhaul in summer.
Had we gone up this year, at least we'd have kept hold of Greaves and Philogene, and likely 1 or 2 of our loans.
Now instead they'll be gone, along with players out of contract and sidelined as Rosenior doesn't fancy them.
It's great that we have an ambitious owner; I just hope his pockets and his interest last the course.

You have to take the opportunity when it comes along, regardless if you’re ready or not. I don’t think acun would leave us short if we had gone up. This season was an opportunity, it may not come around next season and acun might lose interest….who knows

It's why some of us said building a solid base for going up next season made more sense.

I can see Rosie getting the summer window but if it isn't working by Xmas he might be in trouble.
