There’s only Rotherham, Sheff Wed and Birmingham who’ve lost more league games than us… Embarrassing

That’s been one of the most frustrating things for me this season. Lots of games like today that we might not necessarily win, but we shouldn’t lose. Just not solid enough and lack that extra bit of steel in the side.

The defence have absolutely no protection in front of them with our failure to replace Evans when he got injured. To be honest I’m amazed we have let in so few goals this season.

Absolutely agree with this. Ekwah today might as well have been in the north stand with me!

my biggest gripe about today was the change in team.

16 year old bossed the game on Friday. Dropped to the bench is his reward! Ridiculous fir me

looking firward to Saturday. Hopefully an afternoon gig will come in so I don’t have to go!!

Yeah, Patterson is ****e at that. I’d actually like a new keeper who makes better decisions.

The permanent problem is Speakman. I called it out early. Now here we are. Not sure how many games we have lost but it's a lot. We have regressed significantly.

We get rolled over a lot. We are a ship without a proper guide.

Some about at me but it's coming to pass like.i said. I said we will finish 12-14th in Jan due to his bad decisions.

    Now here we are.

Why ? They are doing it right. Challenging. Investing. We are a nothing. Getting rolled over off relegation fodder. Have we lost 20 games of sumit this year ? It's ****e. I am jealous of Ipswich.

Watched the Ipswich game last night… we are a million miles from competing at that level… people say it’s a big summer up… when is it not a big summer? We need to make sure we are still in the league at the end of next season… assuming Speakman is still calling the shots… the guy has totally lost my faith in him

Just seen this. Spot on. I am genuinely on the verge of sacking the season ticket me. What's the point ? This model is zero ambition. The skint billionaire, fan experience is ****e too. Son hates going because of it.

People said binning off experience would end bad. But got called negative.

The positivity from signing no marks from the French second tier was unfounded. Sunderland fans don't deserved such embarrassing performances. We are not equipped to do well in this league. Losing 20 games by April says so. Not opinion. Cold hard reality.

I read a lot of fans on here saying they would be happy with a mid table finish this season. You don’t finish mid table and win every week in the process.

The club has come on leaps and bounds in the last 2-3 years. Players come and go but the money being spent off the pitch will last for years to come. Yes we have made mistakes, and we certainly could have recruited better, but they will know that and this summer is massive for us.

The ones who are calling for KLD’s head should be ashamed of themselves, 1 bad half a season and the poison comes straight back out the woodwork. The boos as the goals were going in yesterday were embarrassing.

Supporting the club doesn’t mean turning up and demanding wins every week. We have a young squad that needs help, not just via experienced signings but also from us.

I’m fully behind the owner, the players and the club. Let’s hope lessons are learnt from this season and we kick on again next year.

Sacking Mowbray is one of the worst decisions we’ve made in recent years, that isn’t to say he guarantees a playoff spot, but I feel fairly sure he would have kept us in the hunt and that is a world apart from what we’re doing now.

Sacking Mowbray without a plan to replace him was the issue.

Is it? Why is it embarrassing? Isn't the point of a league table to look at points gained rather than individual statistics?

League table is poor. 20 defeats or so is lifting. Just been totally rolled over by a team who haven't won away since November. It's now April. That's the state we are in. Young lads all over the pitch without experience and a training ground coach heading it all up. No idea what people find acceptable but this isn't it. Season tickets and fans pay good money. It isn't ok to literally collapse half a season to look after Mike Dodds and Michael Proctor. They are both poor. But Speakman has forced this on us.

And to add some context it's been a poor 3 or 4 months after 2 excellent years.
