There have been plenty of frustrating results this year because they've shown in flashes what they're capable of.

But we've seen gutless performances like Stoke only a handful of times over the season, so I feel many trying to make a generalisation from it are wide of the mark.

Want consistency? Well most of the championship do. So why not just provide it?

    Liam unreservedly in.

Absolutely agree on Seri. No way we should build midfield round him next season.

I'm agreeing with you generally that we need someone sharing the burden next year with a view to taking over. But I wouldn't say we should pension him off until we do that, because I don't think he's quite as ****ed as you say he is. Just yet.

He thinks he is too good for you.
If he was at Man City, he would think he is too good for them.

We aren't 10th in the table because we lost tonight. We are down to 10th because of our piss poor home form over recent weeks. Had we taken maximum points from Stoke, Swansea and Birmingham at home - all sides that have been struggling all season - then we would be comfortably in 6th place. Our problem is clearly an inability to break teams down at the MKM - and that lack of chances we are creating at home is becoming a worrying trend.

I think LR is finding that it is a much different proposition trying to manage a team to get into the play-offs than it is to set up a team to survive (as per last year). He may or may not be able to develop a squad capable of a genuine top 6 push next season - I honestly am not sure - but I think we need to end this season as well as possible for him to be given that chance.

As for Jaden - he's a winger. Sometimes he'll be a world beater and other times he'll be non-descript. It's what wingers do.

Unfortunately there's not really been a place for traditional flat 4 wingers at City (or anywhere else) since the days of Williams and Beresford.

So that's not really an excuse.

He's effectively part of a front 3 with some covering responsibilities.

If he wants a Premier league career, then get used to it.

*I agree though, that it's all well and good turning up for big games, but it's the Swanseas's, Birminghams and Stokes that have let us down.

That's consistency. And it's the championship holy grail.

jadens performances are not an excuse for being a winger
not if he wants to be a premier league player
    i assure you

theres a reason we got him
last season at cardiff he got 4 goals 1 assist

he is raw with lots of potential, but nowhere close to a prem player

think about bowen and klp, he's not even close to their level yet
those two got moves to prem teams, philo is not close

He hasn't plateaued when it comes to position Vs budget yet, and that's what he's ultimately going to be judged on.

    .
I think Keano and Jaden will both leave too soon, but that's the market and the lure of being a premier league player in London I'm afraid.

They decide to go and it's just a question of maximising the fee.

But if Brentford strengthen, it'll be interesting to see what happens with Keane over the next couple of years.

Think Bowen, Robbo and Harry have been the model pros in recent times, but they didn't necessarily move on too soon -though Harry took an intermediary step due to our relegation.
