I'm not saying that I'd be confident about us winning the play-offs! I wouldn't be surprised if we lose the SF, let alone the final. Our H2H against the potential play-offs contenders is poor, with the exception of WBA. It's not a good look. It's just that I'm not writing it off either. There is some serious quality in the squad, and it could click on the night. (But if it does, it might well be in spite of Martin rather than because of him.) Just typing about the play-offs is making sick with nerves.

Agree with .ost of that, and yes today, I was shotin Justin ****in shoot, but at times Martin keep ball, but us ar risk. He needs to encourage them to go all out, and no one will live with us. We should of one tonight about 5-2, but we are still.playing safe football, when we don't end too
Might have to agree to disagree on that mate. Our loans have been great but our signings absolutely shocking. Martin is a really poor appointment, not even in as much as his results but in his complete refusal to change anything tactically. He's far far to stubborn to be a good manager.
You can't just go all out though for 90 mins. Ralph tried that and we always ran out of steam second half. Russ has us set up the right way imo. We are just lacking a bit of creativity and finishing.
I had pretty much resigned myself to the playoffs anyway. The biggest losers today are Leicester - win a game, go top then end up 3rd. They must be cursing us. We actually are in charge of who joins us in the playoffs too.
I'd absolutely luv it *in Keegan voice* if we beat Leicester at Wembley and Steptoe misses a penalty (never forget).
Bazunu is ****ing appalling. He’s ****ed us over for 2 seasons in a row now. Absolutely woeful woeful keeper
Tbh when I say signings, I include loans in that. Jury is still slightly out on RM for me as it has been such an extreme season that I think its hard to say one way or another, but right now i'd say we can rule out both great and ****, he could have done better but he could also have been much worse. That said if we dont go up this season and there is the slightest hint of a wobble next i'll want him out, I dont care if we have a weaker side next year, from my selfish point of view the club owe us and i'll be scorning if they dont deliver, not particularly bothered about being fair after the past few seasons, the club dont deserve to be treated fairly by the fans, they haven't earned that right back.
There are very good teams in the Championship, there are 4 excellent teams. We are one of the 4. Only 3 teams go up , our overall play hasn't gained us the luck we have sometimes deserved. Hopefully we have saved that for the end of the season.
Is Beds 10th yellow relevant? We are going to be short handed in the next match if it is, although he also looked damaged today so that may not matter anyway?
Yeah I’m not fussed about them getting a winner, ultimately 1 or 0 points means **** all for us. It’s why im also not fussed about Bazunu hoofing it long just before as time was running out and we needed to score. The fact he took about 30 seconds before the kick was annoying though. Ultimately we didn’t take our chances, again. We dominated a team for 65+ mins and only had a single goal lead. They went for it last 25 and we concede. It is the story of our season. We actually created a fair bit today which we don’t usually do and played with more intensity but couldn’t score. This season will be an “if only” season. If only we had a gone for a more direct manager I think we would be doing better than we currently are, but who knows. The fragility is still there, and I think playing the possession game when winning when the team is pressing us high has cost us a lot of points throughout the season. Doesn’t seem like the smart move with a team who clearly are piss poor mentally. We also saw the dangers of relying on loan players so heavily (though I am in favour of the strategy). They won’t really care if we go up or not as they won’t be here next season if we don’t
Fundamentally, we can play all these teams off the park.we do so for about 80 mons. Unfortunately in the other reM they get three. So frustrating, but i think we need to give Russ the play off chance, he deserves that, and iam foaming the mouth for most gamex
