We went down down and further down with the previous model while making agents rich, our stadium a mess and a smaller fan base. There’s a mess now but the model has largely got us on a better trajectory. To go back is not an option.

 

I don't and haven't professed to know who could do the job, but it's reasonable to suggest the current DOF isn't up to task and can be discussed as much as a head coach can be.

If a new dof is off limits unless an alternative is offered then the same applies to a head coach doesn't it?

Just going to point out that if people want a new DoF because they don't like Speakmans personality or the way he talks you are in for a big shock when you realise most people in them positions are very similar, and they all think they are right.

 

I was going to suggest Hughes from Pompey. Very good rep.

Just to step away from the DoF talk, how much of a game like today is one side wanting it more than the other? We seemed half a second behind them and we also weren’t willing to do the basics well enough.

 

Well **** me. Didn't ****ing expect THAT **** today. Fair pay to the 5 or 6 thousand of us who stayed to the end to boo the team off

That was awful today like, hopefully that well and truly puts dodds nowhere near the main job in the future he’s just simply not up to it.

and as for Robert’s he’s stunk the place out all season don’t know what dodds was expecting him to do today after a prity long lay off with injury. He’s just massively out of form and shouldn’t be starting imo.

 

My son was working as a steward, and he was my lift, so I effectively had no choice but to stay. The little twat!!

That annoyed me more than anything else today. Over the last few seasons I could never say that the team lacked effort and desire. They have gone until the end of games and got late goals and battled like **** but they looked to be on the beach today. That's what disappointed me the most.

I can take getting beat by the better team no probs, but we didn't do the basic stuff today.

 

Well I just paid £120 for my five friends who flew over from NZ to watch that dross friend said after 15 mins why are they playing so slowly, why are they going from side to side at the back and then going backwards. My reply was they've been playing that way all season.
Half way through the first half one said why does your keeper not release the ball quick enough for a quick counter attack..
In the end all I could say was **** knows.
Moral of this story is if they can see it and we can see it then why can't the coaching staff see it.
