But we don't, we have some talent but it's no more than our competitors have. We spent most the time in the playoffs this season when we were playing Lokilo/Traore/Tufan out wide and without a natural LB. The rhetoric has changed since January and people believe we have the really talented squad, but a lot of the so called talented players haven't lived up to the billing and we don't look much, if at all, stronger.

Swansea finished 8th in the xG table (currently where we are) over last season with a much worse squad. You don’t do that playing safe football. Part of the reason why Martin got the job at Southampton is because his Swansea side regularly exhibited the qualities this Southampton side has shown tonight.
I snapped like a kit kat....and ordered a day pass. Rosie being brave with the defensive selection. I had seen a couple say macca was ****....but I would still rather a centre half play in position personal. Time will tell. You Ull!!!!!!!!!!!
Could be 'entertaining' watching Allsop, Jones and Seri each looking for the 2nd CH to pass it sideways / backwards to!! I don't see how we can say "well done to Rosie for really going for it" until we see how this pans out. It's major changes to his system, away at Leeds of all places! We wanted higher tempo, more intensity from the off, less needless pratting around at the back, to see a big improvement in our attacking phases, etc. He's gone for quite radical change. **** or bust? Panic? Clever? Whatever it is, it doesn't to me smack of him trusting his process!! It could be inspired but it could also be a total disaster. I hope it's the former #obvs
You have to give them massive credit - they just keep going to the end. Lost count of how many comebacks at the end they have this season.
Much better form of those in natural roles earlier in the season helped. Morton, Delap, Philogene and co were all amongst the best in the league. Cannot say the same for the 2 fit ones named nowadays on current form.
Good for the Ipswich fans. Hope they make it. They was knocking on the door for the last 10-15 mins. Deserve it.
xG is very subjective. Swansea finished 10th but that's somewhat skewed by the run they went on when their season was effectively over. For most of the season, they were around us No Martin side can defend and they've just shown another example.
Unbelievable intensity.... youre right they have rescued so many wins and draws in injury time, they deserve what ever they get...
