Just learnt that the club have sold an additional 1926 tickets as a result of a link up with the Hull Boys Sunday League and they're all going to be in the North stand next to the small gaggle of Burnley fans.

Well done to the club for selling reduced priced tickets to the young players of the Hull Boys League.

Hopefully the next generation of fans will see a resounding win

Who knows some of them might end up playing for the Tigers one day. They should always try to fill the ground, What about free tickets for naked women?

The club hasn't had a decent "bring a mate for free" type offer for season ticket holders for bloody ages. Look at Derby last week, they had something similar on and there was over 30,000 there.

I'm sure when Allam was in the process of acquiring us he was talking about how important it is for kids to get to see live football and all that, so hopefully this will be the first of many! You get em through the gate once and theres a high chance they'll return in the future.

I've actually found it to be quite the opposite. Most kids enjoy chanting, shouting and generally absorbing the atmosphere of the game, they add a lot more to the atmosphere than "plastic home fans" do. I think it's a positive sign that more kids are coming to home games.

I agree with the above, I take my 9yr old son and his friend to every home game, and they really enjoy the chanting and cheering but they never leave their seat (except when we score of course!) until half time, not like some who leave 10 mins before half time and the same a full time.

Second that - its often the so called adults who are pushing past to get to the toilets - same ones who've had a few pints before the game!!

Apparently almost a quarter of women in the uk are obese, so with Hull been the fattest in the uk I don't think that would be the best plan!

I was looking through the programme on the day and im sure they'd been averaging around 23-24,000 for most games with a few big crowds so 6,000 extra surely makes it a tempting proposition for the club. After all we have watched a lot of guff over the last two years.

I was in the USA once having dinner in a restaurant and a rather large size women came in and needed 2 chairs one for each cheek. If they were all like that it would cut city's capacity down to about 12,500.<laugh>

Whoah there jimbo, I know it's all light hearted but there's enough misinformation about Gods own acres without us repeating it.

The fattest figures were just another in the long line of poor statistics targeted at us that later got pulled. The figures were based on diabetics at HRI and wrongly assumed they were all overweight and all from Hull.

A more accurate stat is that HRI has some of the world leaders in iabetes, which causes us to get health tourists.
