I've got the same number of goals as you Plym and it does look low. I can't see where to add them though. Better-than-average scorers in recent matches are: Coventry, West Brom, Ipswich, Leeds, Norwich and Southampton. Your nil-nil in the first game looks unlikely, especially as Leicester have been poor defensively of late .....

I agree that Leicester v Norwich doesn't look 0-0.....but I feel both teams will be high on not losing....and might major on defending.

Will probably be the first match with a goal now .

Blimey to get the score that wrong when the match is half over is a new one for the Prediction League.

I can't say too much....I had it down for a 0-0 as well....but well before the game started.

Sheffield Wednesday obliged by losing at Middleborough and nearly all of us got points on that one. What were you thinking Lyndhurst? Thereafter, we all did badly with even Rotherham conspiring against us by not so much getting a result as turning the tide of history.

Right at the end, Ipswich and Leeds came up with a lot of points for us.

Overall, we were pretty poor this time around. Musty got 5 correct results which was the best of a poor bunch but he also got a 3 and two 6's with accurate score prediction which made him a clear winner in the match forecasting element.

Lyndhurst got the goal time: his 49 minute guess was the far side of Plym's statutory 45 minutes and therefore closest to the actual 57 minutes.

There were a lot of goals: 5 games had 4 or more goals including 6 in the Sunderland Blackburn game. Lyndhurst and Musty were closest: 35 versus 38.



A bumper 22 points put even more distance between him and Joe and myself and closed him up on SMH. Lyndhurst is now within striking distance of Sensible while Plym closed a little on Away In BC in top spot.

The next round commences on Friday at 8pm. We'll have double points. Blackburn Rovers (6 points from their last 6 games) v Southampton (7 points from their last 6) will be the Super Match.
