Good for him. Maybe a career in the stock market is his calling. I’d prefer a manager who can play exciting football and win games with the squad of talent the owner has generously provided him.

He just needs to give freedom to players to move beyond what appears to be their ‘zones’ , Coyle one cross in the game . Jaden needs to be more team orientated when he runs he’s not slow and for his build easily punches his weight . What was frustrating watching from he east when we got down the bear wing nobody bust a gut to support - they seemed to be hiding . If this is a fear factor then Liam needs to talk to them .

Generously provided and which he is generously developing to put 5x or 10x the output back in Acun's pockets. Let's not pretend it's a one way relationship.

As has been said earlier, I think LR and his team have coached initiative and pzazzzz out of our players. He's never going to admit that this seasons failure is down to him and tactics and he isn't going to change this tactics. His arrogance is bordering McCann standards..

against leeds we will make far more chances, as leeds will be on us from the start which gives us room to counter

we just cant break down teams which is.. the whole point of ball possession right?

Football at this level is much more about winning games in The Championship (especially at home) when you are in a play off place - and haven’t won many this year - is it one? Acun will be hoping each time he flies over to Humberside to establish his Club in a place in a play off place. That’s almost gone. I just don’t think he will have learnt a lot from all the dropped points due to our style of play atm.

I’d go alone with some of that.

Despite all the hypothetical arguments about who and what would someone else might or might not have achieved here The No1 question for the Big Turk now is a simple one really. How much would the club benefit from sacking Roseinior in the summer and starting again with all the changes a new Manager and his staff inevitably brings and can we afford the right man and his own players accordingly? If a change is brought about will the new man be expected to work with what we have? Fans have argued all season about our keeper, the defending and the creativity to the non existing striker some always craved for as the big fix. Talk now is of players leaving and the trap door being pulled for Roseinior who’s way of playing was either brilliant one game and totally boring the next according to many on here which is probably a fair reflection of thoughts on the terraces.

Given Acun’s vision and investment I doubt he’ll allow us to potentially stagnate again.

Was at work yesterday so saved myself the ignomy of the game, and defeat, but reading the comments it's the same thing over and over. I'm not gonna go all knee jerk and shout for Rosie to go, but when you think of the attacking gems we ha e at our disposal questions need to be asked in the strernest of ways as to why we didn't muster a fkn shot on target against possibly one of the worst teams in the league. Rosie has blamed the fans, blamed the pitch, I suspect he needs to have a look in the mirror, because with this array of talent at his disposal he needs to step up and orchestrate it properly, which for me in recent weeks if not months he is constantly coming up short. We've had samples of what can be achieved, but these samples are becoming fleetingly less. Put a TEAM out not a bunch of individuals, put round pegs in round holes, and ffs let them off the leash.

If we’ve signed better players than West Brom, then we’ve done some good business, as they’re paying 50% more wages than we are.

So we had several good dead balls curled in and no one gets near them one was a superb cross and about 3 miss it, they get one our defence is awol and they get a flick and a player moves in quick on the end of it . This sums up our weakness year after year Mitrovic for Fulham at home for one springs to mind .
We never have someone running in with any speed of movement it’s all static - the style of play seems to crest this tempo all over the pitch - it just needs to be speeded up .
You look at Omur always on the front foot and mobile .

MKM Stadium woes in danger of causing terminal problem for Hull City's play-off hopes
It was a case of the same old problems for Liam Rosenior and his Hull City players on what turned out to be anything but a Good Friday. A 2-0 home defeat to Stoke City was the outcome for a Tigers side who delivered one of their poorest performances of the season at a time when they could ill-afford it.
In truth, it was a contest that City rarely ever looked capable of snatching a victory from and even their prospects of salvaging a point were dented when two late goals from the visitors ensured it was another successful trip to East Yorkshire for the Staffordshire outfit.

Here's a look back at a day to forget in front of another sell-out home crowd...

It might not be a popular topic but it's an issue which is staring Hull City smack bang in the face. Their home form is once again becoming a real problem, and it has to be spoken about. Fans are turning up week after week, but they're not seeing results, nor are they seeing too many performances to get excited about.
Let's call a spade a spade. This was dull. From the first minute to the last, this was a really below-par performance from Rosenior's men and never in 95-plus minutes did they ever look like scoring a goal, and that's not going to wash with supporters who vented their frustration at full-time.
There has been so much positivity, so much encouragement from the manager for the supporters to get behind their side, to be excited, and he's right to do that, but that display just popped the excitement balloon well and truly and it wasn't a one-off. Too many times this season, performances at the MKM Stadium have been poor.

It seems ridiculous to say that given the quality on the pitch at the start of the game, but Rosenior's side never looked like scoring. Not a single shot on target at home is unforgivable for any team, especially one that starts a game with Fabio Carvalho, Anass Zaroury, Jaden Philogene and Noah Ohio, and then can bring on Aaron Connolly, Billy Sharp, Ozan Tufan and Abdush Omur in the second half.
Yes, credit to Stoke for blocking shots and sticking to their task manfully, but there was an unwillingness to shoot, trying yet again to create the perfect moment. It's painful to watch at times, it really is and you can completely understand why fans are frustrated. It's not the first time this has been an issue this season, and particularly, since the turn of the year.

Given the very obvious difficulties City have playing at home, they may well be glad to have two away games coming up at Leeds on Monday and then Cardiff, before returning for back-to-back home games against Middlesbrough and QPR.
On the road, City have been a very different animal to what we've seen at the MKM Stadium and you would not put it past the Tigers to return to East Yorkshire with points in their pocket, but they'll have to play an awful lot better than this to build up some momentum.

There's now a gap of six points between City and Norwich who remain in sixth and came from a goal down themselves to win 2-1 and show their play-off credentials. With goal difference, that's basically seven points and yes, the Tigers do have a game in hand, but that's at Coventry, who themselves won at Huddersfield and look in good form.
The season is far from over and there will be plenty of twists and turns to come between now and May 4, but performances like this coupled with a result like this raise more questions than we have answers. Today's result was never going to define the campaign, but given the manner of the performance and the result coupled with what's happened elsewhere, it does feel potentially pivotal.

It's the home form which will cost City a place in the top six if that is to be the eventual outcome. Seven wins from 20 games is nowhere near good enough, and with three left at the MKM Stadium, they must find a spark. Everybody talks about momentum at this stage of the season and of those chasing sixth place, Norwich, Coventry and Preston have it, City, at this stage, do not.

Attention now turns to Monday night's huge game under the Elland Road lights. City make the short journey from east to west Yorkshire to take on a side unbeaten in 19 home games this season. Rosenior's men have already proved what a tough nut to crack they are on the road with wins at both Leicester and Southampton.
City also held the Whites to a goalless draw, albeit a long way back in September, and their form against those relegated Premier League clubs shows how the Tigers can mix it against the best and there has to be a response.

And at their best they'll need to be to get anything against Leeds, but we've seen more than enough from Rosenior's side this season to know they're more than capable of it.

It's quite an achievement to have a 3 week break and have the time to train a team to play like yesterday. Hardly any shots on target is unacceptable. The worrying thing is the coach seems genuinely concerned with his inability to change things at the top end of the pitch. There is clearly a case for bringing someone in with attacking coaching experience to assist someone who is running out of excuses. I don't blame it all on LR though. He should have been told by his employer his way is not the only way of playing. If it works, fair enough, but it doesn't. Leadership comes from the very top. It's hard to feel excited about next season if they are still in this league knowing it will be partly a different team playing football this unsuccessful way.

In mild defence, to suggest that Rosenior had his first team on that 3 week break is to ignore the fact Omur, Ohio, Philogene, Morton and others were away with national teams.

Last playing complaint on this but Jaden like Bowen and every player on the right since constantly drifts in to keep the narrow shape when they are playing out , the oppos then play it out wide so on the right side they always have an out ball . I have highlighted this so many times . All he has to do is move 10 yds to the right and the oppos are stuck , we don’t appear to do it on our left side anywhere near as much

Does anyone else find it really annoying that when Allsop gathers the ball, he will keep it until the whole team is set up then roll it out to centre half by which time the opposition have set themselves up. Then we plod sideways along the pitch and passing back in order to break the press. The players robotically pass it as though in slow motion and then when it gets to the wingers there is no one in the box to pass it to or sling in a cross as the rest of the team seem to have their studs stuck in the turf and are too far behind. Acun said he wanted fast attacking exciting football, we are the antithesis of that. The players seem to want to take no risk and appear to have had natural instinct coached out of them. More of the same next season them if LR is still here, the only difference being the crowds will be much lower.

They still have parachute cash and have players that are on legacy contracts. They'll probably have a significantly larger wage budget that we do.

Is this caused by the term "possession football" I wonder. Far too often a killer pass contains an element of the risk of losing possession, it's safer (and much easier) to keep possession but with the result being boring, slow, meaningless and ultimately fruitless football. I'm not a fan of what we are playing whatever it's called.
