Omur Slater Coyle. Omur should have started and Slater should not have been subbed. Rosy got lots wrong.
Slater Cavalho Omur Allsop and the centre backs set the tempo with the ponderous build up from the back. I know they are trying to entice the opposition press but this style of play leads to the usual performance we are witnessing of late lacking any intensity.
Slater - The only one with any fight & attempt to get the ball forward. Coyle - Ran & ran, tackled, just seemed to be doing a helpless job. Giles - I liked him going forward, when he was given the ball, second half he was free numerous times & it went backwards. Overall frustrating performance. I thought Ohio did ok, but too many times he’s winning the ball back in our half & then when he’s in space, or only one player nearby, it’s too slow to get to him. He was frustrated & knackered by the time he went off!
If you can't score more than 5 out of 10 in my book, then any player doesn't deserve to get MOTM votes. So I'll abstain after yesterday's shambles.
Five points for first choice, three for second, one for third. Omur 68 Slater 31 Coyle 24 Seri 16 Carvalho 9 Giles 6 McLoughlin 6 Ohio 3 Tufan 1 Jones 1 Omur tops in a forgettable game. Put it behind us, results today have gone out way. The stars are aligning. UTT.
