LOL Direct ferry, probably quicker to get their than from where I live especially by air. You can't get a direct flight from B'ham to Newcastle. I bet its cheaper too as it costs me £80 just in fuel.

The above is tongue in cheek BTW.:emoticon-0117-talki

Col's a canny lad but has had a bee in his bonnet today for some reason.

Nee bother with that, there's times I've totally lost it.

But I do not support Bruce anymore as he hasn't got a clue.

I will always support my club but not nessesarliy all it's employees.

Having sat on the fence for some time now, I'm afraid i've slipped to the side wanting Bruce out. He's had three years in which to mould a team which can deliver what every true Sunderland fan wants, and that is a team that can win a few games and play attractive football into the bargain.
What he has given us is a team that in my opinion are afraid to express themselves for fear of upsetting yours truely. Players in the wrong positions, and above all, trotting out the same lame excuse every time we lose a match.
How many times have we heard him this season say, and I quote '' This is a must win game '' As far as I'm concerned every game is a must win. Go on the field with any other attitude and the the chances are that you will lose.
I'm very much hoping for three points today and should we get anything less then Bruce should fall on his sword. That will allow Ellis Short time to bring in someone fresh, with enough time to evaluate the current playing staff, in time for the January window. Now go out and make me swallow my words.:steam:

Totally agree with all that mate and also hope that they make me eat all my words of the last year or so. I can't see him falling on his sword there's too much money involved for him personally, it's all about greed these days and not the club.

....this <ok> I will always give the team my full backing, but I have no faith in the manager at all. I am surprised that some of the fans continue to back Steve Bruce and his appauling record as our manager.

Ask yourself this question: If your manager at work performed as poorly as Steve Bruce, putting your job under threat because of his or her incompetence, would you continue to support that manager, knowing that he or she could bankrupt the business, putting the whole workforce out of a job?

No, would be my answer, so why should I support a manager that IMO is taking our club backwards, heading for the PL trapdoor?

If you want rid of the manager then start giving ellis short ****e at the games and he will soon get rid of bruce.
You can give bruce it at games however it's water off a ducks back, and also it gets to the players,so lay off bruce and let short know your not happy bunnies,at the end of the game.
Just my thoughts on the matter.
