Things I’ve learned: Liam Rosenior was the man to steady the ship. He did a good job with that. He’s not the man to take us any further. Things I knew already: Omur and Tufan are up there in terms of our better players. They should be starting every game. Unfortunately they are somehow being overlooked. Poor decision making from the management. We are not brave enough. The keep-ball system will never get you enough wins. It will hinder your attacking play by slowing it down dramatically, giving time for the opposition’s defence to get in place. This was easy for Stoke, and they were rubbish as a team. Individually, it was men against boys. We need stronger players at this level. Too many lightweights in one team.
It’s funny that the ball to Sharp was the one Ohio was trying to make runs for all game and we didn’t once play it to him.
Tufan not starting is down to agreements with Liverpool and Burnley regarding Zaroury and Carvalho I suspect... anything other than that is no sort of excuse..
Pretty much We are far too slow Predicitable and easy to play against When teams sit back we are incapable of breaking through This system is fundamentally flawed Be that the manager or players But adaptation is what makes one reach a next level
its game after game after game and there is some big decisions to be made i think, does acun trust rosie to put more money in the summer? can rosie fix the attacking faults?
No, he’s said at the start of the season l. He’d sorted us defensively and this season he’d sort us atticking wise, he ****ing hasn’t…he even plays without a striker at times It’s bordering criminal that tufan isn’t starting
That really was a poor performance. Lots of areas need improvement but the persistently slow transition from defence to attack is one of my pet hates. City often make the space to break out, don't look up and then play the ball back. On the rare occasions that they do step up the speed they look dangerous but our current approach is way too negative to catch retreating defences out.
lets say we make 20m from greaves and philo for example does acun believe that rosie can utilise that to the best it can be?
im not rosie out, i want him to succeed but i think his position is seriously under threat for next season, we seem to have ran out of ideas and i don't think we've seen enough to give another transfer window too
Totally shell shocked by that performance . Simply unacceptable to play like that at home at a time when it really mattered and at this stage of the season. Would imagine a lot of supporters tonight will be having heated discussions on where it’s going wrong especially at home and the repercussions on this weekend could now all hinge on putting in a huge performance at Bellend Road. UTT.
You're all to negative....it's a process, we've improved over shotas time, LR is a nice guys who's nans from hull and he's going to analysis it all and suddenly find an answer that he's not been able to find for the previous almost season and half. #trusttheprocess
Sorry, after today's performance and listening to Rosey on Radio Humberside post game, I feel we are entering the twilight of Liam's career at Hull City. He is a likeable guy, he has ideas but sadly, at this moment in time he isn't the man for a top 6 push in the Championship. With more experience and time on his side - he could be, but I don't believe Acun and Tan have the patience, time and money for that.
i feel a bit sad, cause i wanted him to succeed, but i have a feelings its the beginning of the end for rosie, think he will be out in the summer acun looked absolutely fuming theres too much money and time on the line for him to get another summer transfer window, football is cutthroat, you cant stand still in the championship, its a brutal league
I'm really sorry but I'll take the blame for that. I went today and I've still not seen them win all season
absolutely agree i love rosie think he has so much potential but i think we've just ran out of ideas, he doesn't know or is not able to fix the issues and we all know football is a cut throat industry, im sure he will have a fantastic managerial career though
