That will be ignored by most of the general public, I've never understood the hate he gets.

 

He's a very nice bloke but hes an absolute bellend on the pitch and a diving twat (also very skillful).

I think that's probably why.

It's like everyone hates drogba when he played even though hes a very nice bloke cause he just dropped to the floor even though hes a massive guy

 

I don't see him doing anything that half the players of the clubs supported by the fans that whine about it don't do.

 

Drogba was an exceptional player. One of the best CFs the PL has seen. He didn't always drop to the floor. When he knew he was in on goal he would outmuscle anyone. When he judged otherwise he'd go down. Plenty of commentators pointed this out at the time. ****housery no doubt but he was quality.
