A 4 to end the week, feel I should have done better with this one.

Having got so far with my Wordle information system, being an inquisitive twat, I have now discovered that I could very easily reproduce the entire Wordle with an add-on

Starting with the full Wordle Dictionary, generate a random number between 1 and the number of unused words (call it "n"). Then locate the nth word in the current list of unused words and hide it

Make the first guess and return the status of each letter in that word and colour each letter depending on whether it is in the correct place, wrong place or not relevant. There would be an option to then see how many possible answers remain, with another option to view all possible answers

Then make guess 2 and so on

After 6 guesses or on giving up, it then adds the hidden word to the file of used words, making it unavailable as a possible answer
Recording results and producing pretty graphs would be the easy bit

    BUT,

I really should be getting on with some more important things like finishing off a new version of my daughter's Sales system and Accounts system and getting our own accounts in order, whilst making sure all the horses, dogs and cats are well looked after. Probably a few other thigs like sleeping and eating. No wonder I don't get to go on holiday. The last holiday I had was when my daughter treated me to a few days in England at the Skyline Hotel, Heathrow (where I met some of your fans from various parts of the World), a private visit to the Juddmonte Stallion stud at Newmarket to see Frankel (courtesy of one of our forum members) and a day at Wembley to watch us getting beaten by your lot <laugh>

My wife has been in bed all day, not well, so I had to get my own dinner tonight. Not what I would call a success. Still, everything is done apart from giving the old mare her late evening meal. She is 38 years old now and still "gallops" up to her paddock for an afternoon in the sun. I don't have to get her in, just open the gate and she trots into her stable, where her afternoon feed awaits, bless her

Well, I think I will toss a coin to decide what to do now. Maybe practise my karaoke

Have a good evening all, what's left of it. Only 2 hours to Wordle time, for me <cheers>

Stupid bloody game. Would have never got that had it not been the only letter left that actually formed a word <steam>

Stumbled my way to a 5 to start the week off. Made hard work of it.

    Weekly chart to follow later.

Hmmm. Also ended with a 5 simply because nothing else made sense (and was actually a word).
