Liverpool should have been home and hosed early in the 2nd half. Created loads, just needed someone to tap it in. I don't know who, Ugbo maybe?
Anyone agree that for once the FA Cup matches over the weekend were like the good old days and there is still some magic in the cup? Coventry deserve the main plaudits but Man U not far off with their late late show as were Chelsea.
Just quickly off topic, I forgot to say happy St Pat's day to you yesterday. Hope you had a good day. Back on topic, the amounts being talked about just prove that any attempts made by the Prem to stop clubs buying success, are half hearted and inconsistent. Of course, when you get to Citeh and the like, it's even more ridiculous.

Maybe Luton will get lucky for the same reason we were last season.................. https://www.footballinsider247.com/everton-set-for-devastating-10-point-deduction-in-total-sources/
I'm struggling to remember Everton being out of the top flight. How many points did Citeh get deducted? It beats me how these clubs are allowed to make such huge losses while teams like Oldham can barely pay their staff. I'm sure the government's Governance Act will fix it all...not.
I'm struggling with this Clingo .... what the FA are basically saying is that all teams have to cut their cloth according to their status ...TODAY, which means that the minnows will always be at the wrong end of the food chain, which also means that sugar daddies are now redundant. This should also mean that any extra cash injections are illegal (even parachute payments) This has also got me thinking (please bear with me as I'm going to create a fictitious scene here) Now I know this is ridiculous but let's say a team, let's call this fictitious team ummm Twin Town City (for instance) didn't have a very good following so shirt sales, programme sales etc etc were all down and there was no money to pay the staff. ambulance crews and so on (I know it sounds far vetched but stay with me)... and lets say the remaining supporters took to the streets or other football grounds with buckets (let's call them begging buckets for this example) to collect coppers and ring pulls (Aber) etc... And lets say that these donations from various benefactors was used to pay the wages of the players of (eg) Twin town (yes TOWN) then surely this cash influx would be deemed illegal and therefore punishable by a points deduction .... only saying
They know how to airbrush? They have trouble sweeping the streets. Especially the donkey droppings!!!
Everton were relegated 29/30 and 50/51. Surely you weren't around for the first one Clingo? Apart from Arseanal who have never been relegated they are the longest serving top tier club followed by Liverpool, Man Utd and Tottenham.
Doesn’t seem that long ago when U & Spurs were Div 2 teams in 1974 & 1978 respectively. Man C of course were in Div3 in recent living memory- maybe that’s where they’ll be once they get round to adjudicating their 115 offences
