We had a podpoint around 2 yrs ago and haven't had an issue with it. I think it cost £700-800 all in, they are nationwide I believe
This is something that has confused me, not the car, octopus energy I mean. Keep hearing good things about them but from my experience, they have been absolute dog ****. Lost records of calls, after several made, cliam they haven't received email documents sent (sat in my sent outbox) and call handlers that gave the impression they had one eye on the telly while half arsed listening to the conversation. I've strayed off topic there but my first impression of them are absolute rubbish. Seems its either exceptional service or utter ****e.
To be fair I'll probably do nowt right now until I understand just how much leccy I'm using - don't do a great deal of miles as I WFH and not paying my current supplier £150 just to leave. Heard a few stories about Octopus like, will do research before I do switch
I too am with Octopus ( ex bulb ) my smart meter stopped working last october and as i am on the Octopus go tariff (cheap overnight lecky ) the meter is not sending useage to my IHD or to Octopus. Hence i have had no lecky bill since September. After many emails and phone call i am still no further forward with my non working smart meter. I have now resorted to say to them fix this or i go to the energy ombudsman. Good product **** customer service.
We changed over in November and everything so far has gone smoothly. Maybe we are one of the lucky ones. Get 4 hours of 9p/ kw/h of charging each night. cant fault our experience so far.
From what I can gather its an RFID card that you can use at a number of public chargers and you can get a slight discount for using the card. So say you go to a fastned charger you can swipe the electroverse card and get a slight discount - if you are an octopus customer you can add your house electricity account to the card so you can charge at a public charger and the cost will go onto your monthly bill - dead handy if you are a bit short at end of the month.
