... now an early kick off. Shame, that's the last chance for a good drink and people like one before the last game. For some it's the last time they'll see friends for a few months. On the other hand it's a short journey for Wednesday for what might be a crucial match. Hull have the worst of it imo, a 6 hour trip down to Plymouth and a 4am alarm https://www.safc.com/news/team-news/2024/march/fixture-update-sheffield-wednesday
I've heard it's going to be horrendous, Smugs working man is going to struggle to get to the pub pre-match
I'm hoping it's a critical match for Sheff Wed to give the game some edge ... ... a sell out away end and them needing a win could improve the atmosphere that early kickoffs sometimes lack.
Very good chance Sheff Wed are battling for survival in that game. Their tickets will be like gold dust…
Selfishly an early kick off is perfect for me as will be about 8pm here so can go have a beer and watch the match at the pub which will be a nice change from the 11 pm on a Saturday or even 4 in the morning for midweek games. ( I have only missed one game since I got here end of Jan) and to be fair our form has been **** as well Maybe its my fault for leaving the UK anyway FTM and HWTL
Assume they want all 13 games played at the same time with the ability to show 2 or 3 crucial games at once. With it being a Sat they wouldn't be able to do that at 3pm for the same old ****ing antiquated reasons as usual
Could have Plymouth, Soton, Portsmouth, but then again Sheff U, Burnley, Notts F, Derby, Bolton canny trips next season
