The coldest I've been at a game oddly was Marseille away in 2005. Was roasting during the day and we drove over from Nice. I was only wearing shorts and toon shirt, kept in the ground till about 1am. ****ing freezing!

First game was against Villa at home, 1-0 win, Ferdinand with a trademark header.

Bought the father and son / daughter season ticket deal. £164 for us both! Took my 4 year old boy to his first game against Everton. He was massively intimidated when 'that' Ryan Taylor goal went in!!! Hard to prepare a 4 year old for noise like that!

My first game was the West Ham game with the petrol bomb! My Dad took us and refused to go back to SJP (and never did), he felt truly worried for our well-being! Dark days!

Was a cracking goal for him to remember at his first game. He'll be on not606 in 20 years time telling a captive audience all about it.

Can't wait to take my child (If I ever have one) to their first Newcastle game! It's the one thing, that truly excites me about having children!

It's class! They are going to alternate games from now on and see it as their special day out with Daddy!

Was always going to take my lad to the Derby as it is on his 5th Birthday, so was prepared to pay top dollar for that game (comfy seats) so when the season ticket offer came up, it was just too good to refuse!

Its a great idea to bond with the kids <ok>

The only time I ever had with my Dad was going to the football. I cherish those times so much. Can imagine, your kids will too <ok>

A minor point, but I was in Chelsea Harbour last Sunday when their game against Liverpool finished. Train back from Imperial Wharf was chocca with blues and the thing they all agreed on was that their team was ****e. Good time to be playing them, methinks...

My brother bought me tickets for my birthday for this! Him, me and my Dad are all coming down so if you see three pasty Scots wandering about looking a bit clueless give them a hand, eh?

Delighted it's sold out though, fingers crossed for a good game. Was a bit worried the atmosphere might not be great, what with it being Newcastle's first game at The S***** D***** Arena....<whistle>

So that's why you haven't been posting for a while Sid, you were in Chelsea Harbour and nobody would throw you a lifebelt?

Really looking forward to the Chelsea game, none of them understand how to play Villas-Boas's high line, and the strikers arent being used properly either.
