Honestly, I did it without thinking about winning the competition because my head was on the real bet which was e/w and I automatically wrote e/w. Anyway, I am so happy with his victory, and the way it happened, ride of the week for me, (FFS that change of direction when jumping the last fence!), that I have changed my avatar and put the photo of the finish because I couldn't find a good one with the mare jumping.

Yes. Great commentator (Simon Holt?) in the run-in shouting "The pride of Yorkshire!...".

My favourite film, I must have seen it 50 or 60 times, I know the dialogues by heart. Great Robert Redford and Will Geer (Bearclaw), the dialogue they have when they meet at the end of the film is absolutely memorable. The original soundtrack is one of the best in history.

    Sorry for off-topic.

Funny that cos I love The Sting, with Redford and Newman. Of course the soundtrack is the glorious Scott Joplin's Ragtime, The entertainer

Well done Oddy. The weight of winning this the last 2 years weighed heavily on me this year and I scored a big fat zero. Well done to Gazboy too.

And of course thanks to Chan for running everything.
