Id class it a positive progression on last season, but I'd still class it as a failure with the squad we finished January with and how wide open the final couple of play off places have been ( so far ).
Coventry just made the semi's... maybe take their eye off the prize.?.. wouldn't have wanted to play them today...
They looked really good, wright looked a great signing as well and his goals& assists this season seem to back that up as well
Unless Stoke make a comeback, making the play offs is going to look quite a lot tougher by end of the afternoon. Unlucky that Delap got injured just as Josh Sargent returned to fitness at Norwich and very annoying that their goalkeeper then cleaned out Connolly. But fear our lack of goals and willingness to play a striker might well come back to bite us.
Starting the season with 2 forwards was extremely poor judgement, not fixing that poor judgement in January by bringing in some actual quality was just flat out stupid.....
Come on, you useless Potters, make a game of it! Norwich 3 up. W Brom also 2 nil against Bristol City. Bad day at the office for City so far, without even playing. Worried…no, it’s the Hull City way! UTT ⚽️ Ps. Admittedly, currently probably enjoying too much vino/Cyprus hospitality!
With Greaves suspended for two games, we are a bit short of centre backs as well, unless Christie can deputise there in case of injuries.
People keep saying this but it makes no sense. Two strikers served us absolutely fine for the first half of the season, they barely missed a game between them. It's only since we've gone up to four strikers at the club that we've had a problem.
