I thought doing a GG was:

    Saying it's a loss, but that's OK.

As soon as Newcastle go 1-0 down, saying you're doubting Howe 7 times.

Then saying Howe is a useless **** and got to go.

Then saying how you think we are doomed.

Then saying the complete opposite the next week and pretending someone else said it.

Oh and if you get a correct prediction like "I think Newcastle will beat Tranmere Rovers" reminding us all you predicted that like 15 times

Needing a late goal to get a point against Brentford, losing the league cup to Liverpool's second team, and needing an injury time goal to beat Leeds in the FA Cup.

    Coming good?

Draw will do for me - might not look great on paper but if the weekends results are anything to go by a draw would be a positive result.

Man U - needed 2 pens to beat Everton
Brighton - needed an OG to beat Forrest
West Ham - needed a late Ings goal to draw with Burnley
Wolves - 1-0 win against Sheff

Why would the fact the teams around us are getting points by being ****e mean a draw would be a positive result?

Chelsea suck ass, that's why they're in the bottom half, I wanna win.

We actually have a chance of winning every fixture between now and end of season. The toughtest away tests are tonight and Man U, but both of them aren't great.

Everyone wants to win but a draw against a decent team (Chelsea aren't ****e) isn't a bad result. Draw vs Chelsea also means despite their game in hand we are above them regardless and only 2 points of 7th place.

The point I was making was that's literally 4 of the bottom 5 making the 4 teams around us look very average and we have the easier run in than all of them. None of those performances will stoke confidence in those clubs I mean Wolves probably had the best result by beating the bottom team by a goal because they didn't need any help from the ****e at the bottom to pick up their points. I'd be happier getting a decent, hard fought draw vs Chelsea than drawing with Burnley or relying on Forrest to stick on in the back of the net for us or Everton to gift up 2 pens.

Chelsea vs newcastle in the cup was one way traffic from 20 mins until 120 mins... just saying ... if people think they're crap what are Newcastle? We're not far ahead so ?

    Draw would be fine.

Chelsea are just incredibly unpredictable this season. So erratic. Only thing you can usually bank on with them this season is goals. I've predicted 2-2.

So no doubt it will be something completely different.

They're similar to Newcastle in that very sense and have home advantage. If Newcastle win it will be a great result.

We need to keep pace with Man Utd and leapfrog Wolves and West Ham. A win is needed right now.

Plus with us getting back to form against Wolves, it's a good time for us, against a very average Chelsea team. They've been nothing since Abramovich left, they're a constant work in progress.

We had the excuse of an injury crisis and all the extra CL games, they haven't had any excuse. They're just not all that.

Yes it'll be a great result if we win, but also a very bad result if we lose.

Chelsea have had injuries too though and at the end of the day the table doesn't lie and they were definitely better than us at their place in the cup.

They simply weren't all that in the cup, we played badly and were full of injuries, and were literally a minute away from knocking them out at their place.

They're all youth and players for the future who aren't there yet.

It was an annihilation in every sense other than the score line .. if they'd won by a big margin we couldn't have had any complaints.

Ultimately they're probably going win at home under the lights on a Monday night, but if Newcastle can get anything it'll be a good result.

I do wonder if we'd played like that had we not scored so early on though?

WE need to stay 6 points in touch of Man U - Liverpool and Arsenal yet to play for them and then it's in our hands vs them.

The rest have 4 of the top 5 to play minimum so will need good results if we aren't overtaking them as we only have Spurs from that group left to play.

It was a common theme at the time because of fatigue as much as anything else I feel. Tonight Newcastle should be better, but in a game where there's not much between the two sides I'd say an away draw on a Monday night would be good.

This notion Chelsea are **** when they're doing pretty much as well as ourselves I don't buy into.
