I agree, but to be fair, I don't think that he has been given too many options. Sonny hasn't helped with him and the forwards don't look coordinated. I just hope Ange doesn't just swap Johnson for Werner later. I'd rather see both of them and sacrifice the ineffective Kulu.
He's not helped by the fact that he's on his weaker side and it also doesn't help that Udogie seems to be on a different wavelength to anyone who plays on his flank, irrespective of who they are. He's lucky he's so naturally gifted and athletic as it compensates for the fact that he is struggling to work as a team player. I'd also point out that Son and Bissouma's movement to help Johnson has ranged from poor to non existent.

Massive second half coming up. Villa played Thursday so we need to keep the energy high and hope we get a break. Typical spurs would be to dominate and lose 1-0 so I’m not optimistic.
The worry is that despite that dominance, they have had the better chances and can only surely improve 2nd half.

You could have written that half time in almost every match this calendar year. Maddison is way off the pace still, but he is getting some treatment from the Villa thugs in midfield. Son totally anonymous, not sure that any of our bench options alter the way we play sufficiently to make a difference, if Sarrs knock forces him off I might be tempted to put Werner on and move Kulu central.
Emery's playing some Paella Pulis-ball and we're struggling to break it down. They're mainly looking to hit us on the break or from set-pieces and they've had a few moments. The first half will get about 10 seconds on MOTD2 and I don't think any of it will be us.
