We’ve made a bright start but also a couple errors. Sarr and Bissouma both been below par so far, though Sarr harshly booked there.

Sarr commits a minor infringement and gets booked ..

Johnson’s had Cash on toast so far. Given him a couple digs for Bentancur too.

Midfield really does need to up it though.

Frustrating game so far. We are not playing badly apart from some really poor passes at crucial times in defence and attack that are really costing us

 

Johnson has done well so far. Very tricky, but disappointing with his last ball.
Bissouma worries the **** out of me.
Sonny anonymous and Kulusevski not impressing again.

 

I think I could understand it if our attacking players we so devastating, and that was the compromise. But they aren’t.
But at least it’s fun to watch.

 

We need to make something of this relative dominance cos Villa will start playing at some point.

 

I must be the only fan that doesn’t find it enjoyable. Knowing one long ball can undo the defence worries me

 

I don’t think we have been that bad at the back. It’s mainly come from **** passes when they have got in behind us

 

We keep waiting too long to play the ball through so we are either offside or the ball gets blocked.

Van de Ven is such a class player. He’s better than Romero IMO. He offers so much.
