Cracking game fair result usual couple of errors cost us but we gave it a go from beginning to end . We are technically very good with the ball - first time for many years .
Omur is getting better by the game, he's absolutely relentless. Coyle also seems to have found an extra yard of pace, he's been excellent the last few games, hopefully his injury at the end isn't too bad.
Fantastic match, fair result. At times we played some beautiful football, and played balls much more quickly, though there was still some dithering. Slater had a fabulous MotM performance full of energy and skill. I suspect Leicester might have to settle for a play off berth, and if we get in, we know we can match them (and pretty much everyone else except possibly Ipswich).
Best game I've seen this season. We really played well for large parts of the game. Few mistakes here and there but otherwise we were pretty good. Omur is a cracking player. Feels like the keeper has a mistake in him every game.
Also, separate point, is there something stopping us playing the pre-match song right before the second half too? I feel the crowd starts very flat (mixture of some still not back from the concourse and some sort of mid-game lull) for the second half and it has been the case for most games at home this season.
We played really well. I thought we made Leicester look distinctly average. A better penalty, less defensive wandering for the second Vardy goal and we’d have won. Lots of positives.
Hull City head coach Liam Rosenior told BBC Radio Humberside: "For 99% of the game we were outstanding and I was so proud of how we played today against an outstanding team. "We dominated the game in our way. We were brave, we played out and invited them to press. We played through their press, pressed them man-to-man, scored from it and stopped them getting their rhythm. "For us to do that against an outstanding team gives me a lot of hope for the future. But at the same time, as proud as I am of the players and their bravery and their mentality, I'm just so disappointed we didn't win the game and get our just rewards." Leicester City boss Enzo Maresca told BBC Radio Leicester: "We expected a very tough game, they are a very good team. We played for some moments in the way we want to play, but it was not easy because they were man-to-man which was difficult. When Maresca was asked about referee Samuel Barrott and the penalty that Hull were awarded:"Don't ask me about the referees, please. Because to be honest I'm tired. It's happened many times this season. "Yeah [I spoke to the referee], just to clarify something, but it was after the game was already finished. "At the end they always try to give some explanation, but sometimes that is no explanation because the penalty for them is outside the box and the second penalty is clear."
Few people putting Giles in top 3 on mom thread, I'm not so sure today....a few times he had a good opportunity to put a ball in the box and either hit first man or the keeper. He's definitely shored us up on that side and I really like him, but would I pay the 5 million fee to make him permanent.....can't make my mind up on him yet. Edit....re watching their pen he let their lad run off him and get away from him too....not tryna have a go at him, he's good....just wondering if he's 5m good
Generally the draw was a fair result Thought they were one of the more niggly / dirty teams and could have had a couple of players sent off (& possibly Seri) The referee was poor in decisions for both teams, one of the linespersons was pointless... We need to sort out a second penalty taker that's not Tufan, perhaps one of the defenders to hit it no nonsense through the net (Allsop would pass it to Seri...) Thought Jaden looked leggy / slower than usual and has done for a couple of weeks UTT
I think it was the 'if it aint broke dont fix it' scenario and knowing there were 3 weeks off to follow.
Was Giles injured ? At one point he just stopped running for a through ball when it looked like he could have got to it , also saw him holding his leg as if something was wrong I assume he didn't want to come off though Not sure why we didn't make any subs , surely Tufan should have got on
