FWIW we are just THREE points above relegation in the 30 game form guide. 30 games.

Relegation form if we hadn’t started so well

    find another.

5 managers in 6 months is not good.

we already have a reputation for sacking managers and changing too soon. Changing our “til the end of the season” manager for another “til the end of the season” manager is just going to make us look **** to managers everywhere for the next 5 years.

fair but what happens when we bring in the interim and they lose their first 3 games like Dodds has done? We replace them as well? When does it end? :D

Would it disrupt the academy teams too much to get G Murty more involved in first team, possibly as "advisor" to Dodds till the end of the season?. Has the experience and doing brilliant with the academy.

This would be the best thing we could do, but I don't think Cooper would accept our job right now. His stock is still high and he'll be watching the summer manager merry-go-round with an eye on a Premier League job.

I'm starting to wonder if we can get anywhere near the names/reputations that we're aiming for.

Thats definitely the worry. If the slide continues we will end up with someone from their second tier of choices. Going to be a very interesting summer.

Yeah Cooper for me is unrealistic. Burnley can't be too far away from sacking Kompany and I think Cooper would be their first call.

might be wrong but I’m pretty sure he’s already working with the first team. Think it was mentioned when Dodds took over

If we don’t get a result against QPR then we really need to consider bringing someone in.

I’d be going all out to get Cooper now. As it stands we’re losing the momentum we’ve built up over the last 18months. That will have a huge impact on which players we can retain and also attract as signings.

So frustrating. A lot is right. Add an experienced coaching team and 3/4 seasoned pros and its another story (as we seen last year)

You didn't mention "lack of ambition" for the hat-trick.

I thought Cooper might be beyond us a few weeks ago, but funnily enough not now.

My reasoning is I hope KLD has seen enough and is going to intervene. I am hoping he is smart enough to see his plans unravelling and if we continue our slide to bottom 3rd the summer attempt at getting the coaches and players we want will be very difficult to do. I think Cooper, along with his team, would take a big pay check and perhaps a greater say in squad make up, and if that is on the table I could see him fancying a crack with us. He will know we have very sellable assets and a couple might well go. He knows how to build squads on low budgets in this league that compete, I would be he fancies building a squad here with some money. Not saying he chooses all the players, but we need a bit more influence for the next fella if they are to be at the level we need.

Why did you think cooper was beyond us? Keep seeing he’s unrealistic but not sure why. Is it because of a financial reason or that he can expect a premier league job? Genuinely curious because his CV isn’t one I’d say should be unrealistic for us but sounds like we have no chance
