Sunderland have a LOT of players out: Luke O’Nien will miss Sunderland’s next two fixtures having picked up his 10th yellow card of the campaign against Leicester City on Tuesday. Bradley Dack has returned to full first-team training and is expected to feature for the Under-21s on Monday evening when they take on Manchester City. Corry Evans will not be available after rolling his ankle during training, but Mike Dodds is confident the injury is nothing serious and is expected to take part in training again next week. Long-term absentees Dennis Cirkin, Niall Huggins, Jack Clarke, Patrick Roberts, Elliot Embleton and Aji Alese continue to be ruled out.
It was a cracker and completely unexpected as Sunderland had started quite brightly as I remember. Some of those goals though, they were a complete shambles by the end. There were 3 og's in that game. They took Mane's away from him and gave it as an og later.
Must win today I think. Get the 3 points today and then after a decent rest and players returning I can see us going on another good run. Whether or not that'll be enough remains to be seen of course but I'm definitely not writing off auto chances yet if we win today. The fixture pile up in April I see as potentially a double edged sword. If we're on a good run then I think games coming thick and fast can be beneficial but if it ends up as playoffs it might take a bit too much out of us. Don't think I can make it today sadly as feeling like ****e. UTFS
