I attended an OSC meeting at Welton (quite some time ago now) which Barmby attended. During this meeting he was asked which players he rated. Whilst he was quite coy so as not to offend, he did point out that he thought very highly of Olly both in terms of his work ethic and skills. Unless something has happened to change Barmby's opinion of him, I see no reason why he wouldn't be given a place on the squad, unless, as stated elsewhere, there is something in his contract that the Club doesn't wish to trigger.
