    No thanks.

Also from that article: "Collectively, the trio, who each featured at some point at Stamford Bridge, cost around £75m" Seeing that fact in writing has just made me piss myself laughing <laugh>

    Bin dipping idiots!!!

Didn't want to see him go but he did and he's yesterday's man now, wouldn't want to see him back.

Does he really have the position to say this? Their owners must actually **** money if they would be willing to brush aside £75m and buy again.

You value our first team at less than £12.5 million?

    Really? :undecided:

Fixed. Think it's unfair to say they're worth more than our first team. <laugh>

    EDIT: beaten to it!

I don't want him back. Not because I am bitter, I still rate him, but the problem with Carroline is you have to pretty much build your team and overall tactics around him. Which is why he is always on the bench for the bin dippers.

COST more than our first team lol.

Don't want him back, but got to admit it would be absolutely hilarious if we got him back for a couple of months only paying half his wages <laugh><laugh><laugh>

I would have him back - I was very angry when he left but he's the real-deal when it comes to be being a fantastic, international striker. He's a Geordie boy and I would welcome him home anytime.

I would even pay £20m to buy him back! <ok>

Very good point and same reasons as me for not wanting him back. This is also Torres problem at Chelsea, he can only play in a certain type of system and Chelsea don't play that way!!!

I disagree - what role does Leon Best provide for us?

He's a target man and Ba plays off him. Carroll is a far superior target man and player compared to Leon Best.

I wonder if you can get odds on him ending up at stoke in 3 years time.

    He'd be amazing there.

We wouldn't change our style of play and start lumping the ball up to him, that's not the way we played with him. That's the assumption others made based on his height and physical presence. And the mistake Liverpool made with him, they just hoofed it up to him. We played it into feet, he could shield it, hold it, and bring others into play. Obviously he is a useful target man for the wingers to cross in to, but our primary tactic was not hoof ball. Him and Ba would be quality, but very very unlikely to happen.

I agree and would have back, he'd have to make a full public apology before every game though.
