Villa's three year losses are nowhere near as bad as Chelsea's, mainly due to them getting £100m for Grealish, so they've not yet breached FFP rules (though they'll probably have to cash in on a player or two in the summer to stay within them).

Working from home isn’t more efficient and productive then?

He’s always been like that. He only ever organised training 2-3 times a week. Newcastle players weren’t that coy in interviews about how **** Bruce was compared to Howe.

The Frenchman said in a series of posts on his Twitter account: "It has been an honour and a privilege to have you as a coach, thank you Steve.

"You are, without a doubt, one of the most gentle people that I have ever met in the world of football.

"You have been a man of your word, a caring man and a fair man who never hesitated to protect us. I will never forget how you treated me, for that I will be forever grateful.”

The gesture got a big thumbs up from Manchester City midfielder Jack Grealish, who responded with a series of clapping emojis.

Oh, I’ve no doubt he was a good man manager and a mentor. However, his tactics and training methods were dated. Some players may have liked him as a person but not necessarily as a coach. As a coach, many of the players came out and said Howe was a huge improvement on Bruce.

A smart arse lawyer would advise an early guilty plea, gaining the maximum tariff reduction, then go large on remorse in mitigation. :emoticon-0125-mmm:
