No casualty's mid-week at Central Industrial Estate fire and an impressive performance from the Southampton Fire Fighters which is good news and I believe that incident will galvanise the club to push on through what promises to be an exciting run in. It will take more that a massive inferno to stop the Saints from going Marching In. The fire was angry and quick and that fury, aggression and speed must be matched on the pitch by Saints come Saturday. The extra preparation time could be vital. We are playing against a wounded beast and we will need to come out the blocks aggressively against the Black Cats and with purpose to secure another vital win. We will never surrender.

Anything would be better than the reverse fixture. My Sunderland mate was desperately hoping for a 0-0, until the game started. By the end, he was disappointed it wasnt another 9-0. How I laughed when we met up after the match.
Very hard to guess which Saints will show up, currently. We have to win this to keep pressure on the top two, but more to show that teams like Sunderland have NOT worked us out. That will matter massively in the playoffs.
Will they call this off today to save the Sunderland fans the trip? Be pretty ****y to call it off tomorrow morning/lunchtime if they think it likely to be called off today anyway
Black smoke swirling overhead and ash falling from the sky. A desolate landscape of black smouldering wreckage. No go areas taped off by the police. Jeez, is there anything more we could do to make Sunderland feel at home?
