Apologies for being so late, but maybe that's a good thing? The (14:10) at Exeter, a Class-4 Handicap Hurdle over a distance just short of 2m1f on soft ground, gives the bottom weight, Koenigsstern, a squeak to make a podium finish, at least. Past form indicates the gelding has a good chance in this event. James Davies on board for the Nick Gifford yard. 10/1 (Bet365/Betfred) top price early-doors, on the ATR site. E/W best option.
Awful, made no show at all, probably still running (direction his stable at Findon, West Sussex, no doubt). C'est la vie!
Sucker for punishment, but I will have my first-ever go (probably the last) at Dundalk in the (19:45) there. The Kodiac gelding. Anjah, is still a maiden but has run some decent races in defeat. An outsider in this field, but a couple of shekels e/w at the 16/1 offered by Coral/Ladbrokes is worth a modest punt. Maybe, we'll soon see.
That is the most common; guessing the winner of any race is incredibly rare, though it does occur occasionally.
