Prediction League Season 2023-24

The Southampton v Preston game was called off due to a fire in neighbouring business units.

Musty was top match prediction scorer with 12 points. Seven of his predictions yielded points and there were two 3 pointers within them. Sensible was close behind with 11. Plym got the goal time with his prediction of 45 minutes matching an actual time of 60 minutes. SMH missed the Tuesday games.



There were no positional changes apart from Lyndhurst taking sole possession of 4th place after sharing it with SMH last time around.



The next round starts on Friday at 8pm and runs through to Sunday. I'm going to go with Preston North End v Stoke City as the Super Match. I bet you can't guess why!

A big fat zero from the Super Match.....

 

Joe and Lyndhurst predicted 8 of the 12 games correctly but they were both pipped by Away, who got 4 scores spot on. Away also got the goal time: 7 minutes actual against 12 predicted.



No changes in league positions but Away stretched his lead on Plym while Sensible and Lyndhurst closed up on Plym from 3rd and 4th.



There is one odd game game on Tuesday: Birmingham v Middlesborough. Come on you Smoggies (who knew?).

There is then a round of 10 games commencing on Saturday and running though to Sunday. We'll bundle those up into an eleven game round but if if anyone wants to predict just the Tuesday game to start with due to pressure of work or whatever, that's fine, I'll add the whole lot up when the time comes. The Super Match (or possibly Not-So-Super) will be Rotherham v Huddersfield.
